Welcome aboard the S.S. Sanity aka Republican Partisanship!
What is more hilarious is that you presume I am a Democrat! I have been a registered Independent voter since 1990 and if anybody has moved from the moderate to the insane it's the GOP.
The GOP stances on Immigration, Healthcare and Women & Gay rights have been "Hitlerized"! The Gop should change it's symbol from a Elephant to a Swastika.

You should be a news anchor on MSNBC.
No, it has to do with how drastic the differences are. A net gain of 25,000 for the one party that has a competitive Primary is not a large net increase. A net increase of 700,000 wh, is what we saw for the Dems heading into 08 is a drastic increase.

Maybe a second Oblama term won't be so bad after all. The entire country would be Republican by 2016.
Or, perhaps, 2012!

Par for the course for the poorest, worst educated, and most reliant state on other peoples tax dollars.

So tell me how much Mississippi has improved in the 10 years since this thread was initiated after those representatives switched over to the Republican Party?

Study finds Mississippi is nation’s worst state in which to live, again

There is no obvious reason one state should consistently rank so poorly, yet this one does.

Notably, Mississippi is at the apex of the stroke belt, the cancer belt, the obesity belt, the heart attack belt and the COPD belt.

Mississippi ranks dead last in health care and next to last in education.

Interestingly, it is a state with one of the highest percentages of voter turnout, and they vote reliably Republican.

Mississippi No. 1 in US for gun death rate

Mississippi gets $3.40 for each tax dollar sent to the federal government, one of the very highest in the nation. Yet they literally hate the Federal government. This is a serious dependency on others for what is an essentially libertarian state.

Lots of stealth Republicans do, too. And who could blame them in this day and age? The last thing any sane Republican wants is to be thought of as a MAGA.

Only people playing games pretend that all republicans are MAGA types.
