The distinction is important.

Example:

'Paycheck from my boss.' Your paycheck that you got from your boss.

'Paycheck of my boss.' Your boss's paycheck.

Now do you understand the distinction?
And having read the book, I think its a stupid title. What is a apparent, having read the book, is how little Obama knew of his father and how little impact his father had on him.

Beat me to it. His tripe might work on someone who had read neither book, but not someone who has.

Nope, just didn't have any merit to it.

You think so because you didn't comprehend what you read.

Who is claiming ignorance? I've read both books Obama has published and followed him long before most of mainstream America knew who he was. I know quite well who he is and what he stands for.

How can that be so when you never read Obama's father's dreams in his work? Obama's book is all about finding his father and his father's dreams and identifying with them.

That's an English Lit 101 concept. Why don't you get it?
