Why do people post things like this?

D.C. taxes food. As noted Illinois taxes food. Maine taxes food. Mass, Minnisota and Michigan taxes food. California and Washington taxes food. Just noted a few.

States that tax groceries (rate if not fully taxed): Alabama, Arkansas (3%), Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois (1%), Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri (1.225%), Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee (5.5%), Utah (1.75%), Virginia (1.5% + 1% local option tax), and West Virginia (5%).

Sorry... can't let this one go. Texas is far from stupid and one of the highest technology / education states in the US. Mr. Ruckman we struggle down here with a huge illegal immigrant population who crosses our borders who don't speak English and have no formal education.

How about we put a few million of them on a few trains and send them to Maryland and let you guys support, educate, house and provide health insurance to them. I'm sure you'll do a great job.

Average IQ of 85 .... what an ignorant remark. (for someone who can't spell Remember)
