The fact that there are so many who are willing to rally around idiots like West (and Walsh, to name two) just goes to show the desperation of the republi-thug party.

They have NO ONE with any credibility or morals - and that includes their presidential candidate.

They are simply playing the hand they were dealt with and they have to show support for these liars and morons. They have to put up a united front - regardless of how they really feel and what they really believe.

I guess I just hate believing that even half way reasonable and intelligent people would really support these creeps if they had better choices.

Obstructionist? That is just code for "Those mean Republicans won't let President Obama do whatever he wants". Typical attitude from the crybaby left.

NEWSFLASH - those congressmen and women were elected and they weren't sent to Washington to rubber stamp everything a Democrat in the white House wants to be enacted. Further - there are three independent branches of government which provide checks and balances on each other - the "obstructionists" as you call them are doing their job.

Would you be calling Democrats in Congress who stymied a Republican president "obstructionists"?

Show me that you aren't a hypocrite.

No obstructionist is when you put party over country, when you’re against the things you used to be for because of Obama. You know those kinds of things… No need to show you I’m not a hypocrite because you are in the minority with your way of thinking…

By the time that he was done, everyone raised their hand when asked if they would vote for him. So much for fair and balanced. I'll never watch that show again. There is NO way that a truly bipartisan audience could agree 100% to vote for West.
What to you want from The Frank Luntz show? Frank Luntz is a GOP operative who is best known for Orwellian propaganda. He coined the term "clear skies" for a bill that makes the air dirtier; he got the GOP to use "death tax" instead of what it is, an inheritance tax and "energy exploration" instead of oil drilling.

Look up 'obstructionist' in the dictionary--it has zip, zero, nada to do with 'party over country.' You know who were real obstructionists?--the abolitionists of the mid 19th century, because they sought to stop the pro-slavery Democrats from expanding slavery to newly formed states. Allen West continues in that tradition as he tries to stop the expansion of collectivism and further travel down the road to serfdom.

Obstructionism per se is neither good nor bad; whether it is depends on what is being obstructed. In typical fashion, liberals twist a word meaning in an attempt to rig the discourse.

When more American citizens enter into government programs than enter into the workplace, you cannot argue against his statement.

The "fundamental change of America" is underway.

*Knock**Knock**Knock*

Uh Hello, its not West's List it's from the American Socialist Party itself. Jeez at least do a little reading before you deny, deny, deny.

DSA-Members: American Socialist Voter - Democratic Socialists of America - 10-1-09

Too bad for them they didn't vacate the Internet Domain before the above got captured. Instead of running away like cockaroaches when the lights turn on, tell your SOCIALIST Representatives to stand up and be proud of their Ideology. Or are they afraid of their "bond servants" finding out the truth? Some of these Reps are from the 310 area code are they not? I'd call their offices and tell them to stand proud for their beliefs. Tell them to make Marx proud

I like Allen West very much
Obama could take lessons from him!
But, Obama is busy lying his ass off to what few folks who still can not see him for what he is!
Oh, he wants slaves, yep, he sure as hell does!!
Look at the ads running about the greatness of food stamps!
And if that does not buy into a slave thought process, what does??
Good grief!!

That's a straw man argument. You first assert something that isn't true (espousing the greatness of food stamps) and then you knock down your false assertion. But I can see how your admire Alan West, someone that makes up facts as he goes along.
