Health care is a fundamental right. It is not "free. I pay my fair share and more for it.

How is it a fundamental right if you have to pay for it?

Then how is it that some of the poorest of poor people can afford cigarettes & booze?

Cigarettes are over $7.00 a pack just by themselves.

If you smoked say a pack a day thats over $217 a month just on cigarettes alone. More than enough to cover the cost of a private healthcare & prescription drug plan.

I have ZERO sympathy for people like that.

Everybody eats that doesn't make food a fundamental right. Why is health care different?

So, because you're poor, you are now automatically a smoker and a boozer?

Really how do I get that, my high deductable plan is $1008.00 per month!

As for Texas, it is sad that the Mr. Perry accepts that 6.2 million citizens of "his" state are without insurance and that he puts road blocks in the way of improving the health and welfare of Texas citizens! He should be making an effort and take pride in making Texas a state for everyone instead he is all about giving to his supporters and less about working for a better Texas!
