I think the Blue States should get together and refuse to send a dime for Texas highway projects. Or any other federally funded programs.

Its like prohibition all over again. Unpopular laws get ignored and can't be enforced. They'll continue to push it as long as the big players in the industry stand to make money on it but if it does prove to be that unpopular, look for it to be radically overhauled or even dropped.

I think Texas should cut California's lights off.

We pay for our own highways here btw. They're called tollways.

Texas has some of the best, if not THE best roadways in the entire country.

Yeah and let us here in Texas cut off our oil and gas to those same folks. We can pay for our own roads by jacking up the price of our West Texas Crude you like to put in your car.

Tollways are built when the state doesn't want to build roads for the citizens, passes it off to some private company with sweetheart deal that overcharges the motorists. hell, you can't even speed on them after you've paid for the privilege of driving on it.

The citizens of Texas elected Mr. Perry to represent them. From what i gather the majority of Texans dont want to be a part of Obama care. It is Mr. perry's rob to respect the wishes of his citizens. Too bad more elected reps didnt do the same.

I'm glad individual states are starting to stand up to Obama on this government mandated healthcare bill.

The people don't want it & he's trying to shove it down everyones throat.
Perry will do what the law demands, and while doing it he will continue to open his mouth and prove how much of an idiot he truely is.

There are more uninsured in CA then TX. It's just the % is not as high.

There is a difference in Health Insurance and Health Care. Our Illegals do get Health care when needed.

Our oil comes from Canada, they have like 10,000X as much oil as Texas. You guys are yesterday's news. You are being overrun by illegal immigration and crime. This is such a pathetic display by your Gov when you have so many other HUGE problems.
