You will only pay a little bit out of your own pocket and then after a catastrophic illness you will be jobless and broke and on public assistance and then we will pay your bill.
Do you actually want to me a mooch?
Nah...go with what Pelosi says.."he'll be dying in the street outside the hospital doors".
They stopped listening to the boy that cried wolf because he cried wolf so many times.
Very simply... TX (unlike our Fed Govt and California) has a requirement in our state constitution where we MUST balance our budget and money is hard to come by for everyone. Why should the Feds who can't control their spending dictate how we must go in debt to cover services we cannot afford ?
As long as Obama & the Feds keep a pourous border, we cannot afford to provide the poor coming into the state with all the benefits of our citizens. The Federal Govt and states like Califonia, New York, ect can't control their own programs. They should not attempt to control our programs.
Besides we provide some of the best health care in the nation for everyone, legal and illegal in this state. There is a difference in health care and health insurance.
Time for a new President.
No it is not! Time for TX to stand up and pay their fair share. Perry and his bunch have gotten rid of so many necessary taxes. Remember when Perry took away funding for Volunteer fire departments? Perry held a prayer vigil for rain and TX got wildfires and Perry whined for FEDERAL help.
BUNCH OF DAMNED TEXAS MOOCHES!

What an idiotic assumption. Do you have any idea what you're talking about? Didn't think so.
$100/year won't get you squat. Go and find a poor family and pay for their insurance yourself if you feel that strongly.
No need to there fellow. My extra $100.00 AND YOURS AND EVERYONE ELSE'S WILL SURE BE A GOOD START. We need to make sure none goes to the mooching state of Texas. Would just be better if Tx and AZ and the other republican hold outs would grow up and be adults.

People do get sick and lose their job every minute of the day. For many when the job goes so does the insurance coverage. That's the beauty of it. Get sick? You're off the rolls. Of course for many their spouse will pick of the slack. There are numerous scenarios people experience. So why in the hell would you consider it an idiotic assumption?

HEALTH CARE IS HERE TO STAY!
No one is arguing that it's going away. And we have 21 new taxes coming up to cover the subsidies.
Those that buy from the pool will get subsidies.
The illegals..well nothing's changed there.
Texas will be saving money by not administering this pool. They did the same with the high risk pool in 2010. Why does this upset you so much ? The people can still buy insurance from the pool.
No one is preventing you from sending a check to the Treasury over and above mandated taxes. But you have no right to say others must do the same.
Now go off and complain about CA "mooching" from the Fed as they crossed the line becoming a receiver of more than they pay in.
