Stereotypes happen all the time, in hollywood and every where else. Its a part of life and sometimes things are just done for fun and humor. Im sick of everything being called "racist". Scratch that, it seems they sure pick and choose. TV shows and movies do this stuff all the time, are they blasted by the media? No.
Cheech and Chong, remember those movies. Still not outlawed, still seen by people today to laugh at. Its humor, its comedy. Sometimes, stereotypes are just funny.
There is nothing wrong with this photo. Id be willing to be at least one of the girls in the picture is of some latino heritage. Get a friggin life PC police!!! People need to stop with the "thats offensive/racist" card. Find something better to do and quit being so low on yourself or others that you find everything to "offensive".
Yeah, because its just soooooo appalling. "Oh my word!!!! ARghghghghghghghgh!!! How could they do such a thing?!?!?!?!?!?" Knock it off. Most who would have seen this wouldve laughed or smiled and thought nothing of it. There is nothing to see here move along and find something better to do.
I would be extremely disappointed in my children if they took a picture like that. The future bigots of America...There was something wrong with the photo when they decided to hold up signs about grass and mowing lawns. It's called stereotyping and many people find it offensive. There are many things to laugh about without stereotypes and insults. I do see something wrong with the photo and I don't care if one if the girls is a latina. How about teaching your children to be considerate of others, rather than condoning bigotry?
It's really not a big deal. Nobody would think so or waste time talking about it if it hadn't been on the news and were told it was a big deal (it still isn't a big deal). I think there are people who just get paid to scour the internet and FB pages looking for phots of people doing something they can sell to the newswires as CONTROVERSY! These people are just going about their lives doing no harm to anyone and being perfectly nice people taking what they think are funny pics and getting caught in the witchhunt mentality of our country. I'm surprised people aren't calling for their expulsion and having this on their "permenant record" so it will follow them forever and possibly prevent them from working anywhere. I mean, that's what we do now right?
I have a dark and warped sense of humor so I'll warn you all now...if you even respond to my post you will be just as guilty as me and you never know what I might or might not do. Don't risk it. Put me on ignore. Your futures may depend on it.
Gosh, I wonder which skits one could be referencing... Hmmm
That was my question, do you intend on answer it?
Apparently not.

Do you think that it is by chance that their cast is made up of a Jew as a host, a black male and female, a middle-eastern man, and a Latino as their "correspondents?"
they do that so they can make these same sort of racial, ethnic, sexist, etc, jokes under the protection of "well a black guy made fun of a black guy...and we're liberals, so you can't touch us...na na na boo boo!!"
Clearly you haven't ever watched the show because anyone who has watched Wyatt Cenac (the blak guy), Larry Willmore (the senior black guy), Asif Mandvi who is Indian not middle eastern (I know its so hard to tell all those brown people apart), Al Madrigal the Latino guy from San Francisco, don't play to stereotype but instead use their parodic talents to do just the opposite, they challenge them and in so doing discredit them.
Their work relies on irony and I know conservatives just don't get irony.

Oh, how dare me mistake Asif Mandvi, the Daily Show Middle-Eastern senior correspondent, as a middle-eastern man. How dare I mistake that one
You are a perfect example of someone needing less parking cone.
And the entire premise to his show is political, racial, ethnic, religious, and sexist satire. Seasons 1-16 if you need an example of such humor.
YOU believe people shouldn't get offended. Who made you the decision maker on what people, especially of mexican descent in this case, should be outraged from. If you want to insult people, you should be ready to accept the outrage that comes with it.
Ever seen the movie "White Girls"?
You know, 2 black cops go undercover as white girls and hillarity ensues? Great stuff.

I am a social liberal and fiscal conservative, I see your Irony....and raise you....
Danson is a friend of former United States President Bill Clinton, who attended Danson and Mary Steenburgen's wedding. Danson has donated more than $85,000 to Democratic candidates, including Al Gore, John Edwards, Barbara Boxer, Bill Clinton, Al Franken, and John Kerry. He has also donated to the Democratic Party of Arkansas and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Danson and Steenburgen campaigned for Sen. Hillary Clinton during her 2008 Presidential campaign.[16] Such is his closeness to the Clintons, he attended the wedding of their daughter Chelsea on July 31, 2010.
I still fail to see any irony, whatsoever, in anyone that mistakes a guy by the name of Asif Mandvi, a proclaimed daily show Senior Middle-Eastern correspondent, as a Middle-Eastern man. Especially in lieu of the fact that I rarely have an opportunity to watch the show...: /
