What he did to them, he did out of love. It is telling you accuse him of the opposite.

take the blinders off. he did it because he is an arrogant ass. if he was doing it out of love as another poster suggested he would have sat down with them, got to know them and talked about god. instead he took their money and shoved a judgmental note at them. this is not "love". to continue to say it is, is just stubbornness to accept the niceties of society. if the situation was turned around you would be mad that someone had the nerve to do such a thing to you.

The Bible instucts them to spread the Gospel. It is what it is. The world is becoming increasingly hostile towards Christians, and now we have reached a point where they are being told to not even talk about their faith. Ironically the very same people who attack Christians also demand that they be married in Christian churches.

Complain complain complain....and if he sat down and talked to them, the big compaint would be if he cared why did he not at least recognize it may have been upsetting in front of people or expecting an immediate answer, why could he not have had at least the decency to write the thought in a gentlemanly note...

If he gave them the note while eating....complain complain complain he's ruining their dinner why could he not wait, but rudely interupts and, how could he have known before they ordered or so quickly while eating..? no..he could not carefully and patiently wait until they had their nourishing meal and interfered with what could be very important plans for the day....no matter what the deal is, complain, complain, complain, even with a courageous act and effort of thoughtfulness.

This was explained to you many times yesterday, and you failed to understand it, so there is no point in me trying to explain it to you again.

I understand the mindset very well. you think you have the right and are obligated to convert and tell people who you judge that they are living their life wrong and need the word of god to turn themselves around. I get that. however the advise in 95% of the cases is unsolicited and perceived by most to be rude and arrogant. re read this thread, that point has been explained to you many times as well and you not only fail to understand that, you hide behind "god" to sanction judgmental and arrogantly rude behavior.

there are better ways to spread the word

Complain complain complain...now its all taken as a personal on entrants who do not oblige. He explained in the note that his daughter was homosexual and things did not go well...obviously he was trying to qualify a sincerity, otherwise this inside information would not be included...how does anyone know what the man experienced, or is possibly acting in some form of thoughtful reparation ? All known would suggest genuine care.

Why would this couple make such a big deal about it. Just because they're gay? Why not just move on and forget about it instead of bringing attention to themselves.

Maybe the owner was trying to be sure that he never saw them there again. Who knows what his intentions were. No one knows.

The "don't judge others" thing is a joke. Most of us choose our friends because we admire or like things about them. That's judging.

If you had a son or daughter who chose a friend that was into drugs, or made poor choices, would you try to influence your kid to see the light about his friend's poor decisions before your own child started becoming more like his friend? That's judging! Oh, my!

People judge others all the time and try to pretend they don't.

Some people like publicity because they're gay, imho.
best,
toodie

It is clear he was trying to help, but people are easily offended. The Bible itself is full of stories where God's people preached to people and while some listened and believed the rest were offended. They were offended to a point where they murdered the preachers. All but one of the Lord's apostles killed by the people they were trying to help. And of course we know that Jesus Himself was murdered by those who were offended by the truth.

It's not even arrogance, it's being a passive-aggressive coward too afraid to confront a couple of women. If his beliefs were as solid as he'd like to think they are he'd have no problem risking a little business to let those women know he thinks they're sinners. Which is what a real man would've done.
