But what were talking about here is Christians being hated because too many Christians are just plain, flat-out RUDE. No one likes the judgemental finger shakers who think they need to straighten out the world in the name of God. Christians think they can do it because it is in His name. The same message can be delivered with love and compassion. (Which is, oh yeah, how Christ delivered it.)
Exactly. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. -Ephesians 2:8-9

Acting like a jerk don't cut it with the man upstairs.

While I wouldn't agree with his opinion, I would have more respect for it if he just denied them service.
Why should he refuse service, when it provided him the opportunity to evangalize to these ladies?

People quoting the bible isn't off topic?? You preaching religion isn't off topic?? The topic is about someone who believes he is some sort of messenger of God - his calling - and pushing his beliefs on people who share a lifestyle that does not fit into his beliefs.

I said I would not discuss religion with you. The topic is not about religion per se. What part of that did you not understand?

How is posting an article on the decline of christians religious?? You said that society was hostile towards christians. The decline in the number of christians may be a reason why desperate nutjobs go around pushing their christian beliefs on others who don't share their "beliefs".

He is being hated for his faith, and he was not being rude. People are offended by the truth, and consider it rude, when it is not. It came from the heart, and the intent was to help these ladies.

Jesus was bold in His teachings, and they killed Him for saying what He was saying.

You guys hate this guy because of his faith, and you are murdering him with your words.

He isn't being hated for his faith. He is being hated for being rude, spewing hate and using his faith as an excuse to spew venom.

No, only a person of faith can draw so much hate for talking about his beliefs. Any other topic would be simply ignored.

What an exaggeration - he's being hated for his faith. He's an idiot who was pushing his beliefs and passing judgment on two people that don't fit into his beliefs!!!! He was rude and he was greedy.

And whose truth would that be?? Would that truth be some idiot's version of the truth? This isn't about truth/lies. It's about an idiot who you keep justifying his actions. Do you go up to gay couples or gay people that you don't know and tell them the "truth" - as you know it?? Do you go up to everyone who doesn't fit what you believe and tell them the "truth" - as you know it? Or do you do the right thing - shut your mouth, mind your business and think whatever you want and throw in a prayer or two for the poor lost souls?
