He won the black vote by 93%, Hispanic vote by 70%, and Asian vote by 73%. That was over 25% of the electorate. Romney won the white vote by about 59-39.

I think much of this is driven by the perception among lo-info minority voters that the GOP is racist. What happens to that in 2016 if the GOP nominates a guy named 'Cruz,' who incidentally has degrees from Harvard and Princeton, and so is also immune to a usual demo-demonization tactic? Big trouble in rent-seeker's paradise.

This is the beginning of a desperate party-wide conversation on how to demonize Ted Cruz. If they have to they will even go birther on Ted. LOL, it is going to be entertaining if nothing else.
I think they played a role in Herman Cain's demise also. The Dems couldn't stand having a black Republican running for president now, could they?

Ted Cruz is a white Hispanic. They do exist, you know. There's a country in Europe called Spain and everyone from that country is European and therefore white. Not all Latin Americans are mixed, there are many who are of pure European ancestry, unlike George Zimmerman who was clearly mixed. Ted Cruz's father is a Cuban of pure Spanish ancestry which means that he's white and he passed those genes on to Ted and that's why Ted looks like any other white guy walking down the street and he doesn't look like George Zimmerman.

Wasn't Bill Richardson a failed governer and disgraced politician? He's also been called a political hack. Why on earth is anyone interested in his opinion? That is to say, it's outrageous how the media asks him questions and therefore makes him relevant. Also, who died and made Richardson the gatekeeper? The arrogance, chutzpah and nerve to say who is Hispanic and who isn't.

Richardson is a true Liberal. His first priority will always be Liberalism and he will attack anyone that he feels is a threat to it. Watching Liberals like him remind me of the old stories about the die-hard Communists in the old USSR. They never gave up on Communism until they died no matter how much of a failure it was or how many people it slaughtered.

Can't leave the "Plantation" if you never lived on the "plantation".

Ted Cruz is no different that a child adopted out of China ard reared in the midwest USA. That child's herritage is Chinese but her reality is suburban Milwaukee Wisconsin. She is still Asian.

Default Bill Richardson doesnt think Ted Cruz should be called Hispanic

Richardson is correct. There are much better labels for Cruz than "hispanic", although the term does include panic.

He's also an ethnocentric Hispanic which is why he doesn't like Ted Cruz because Cruz doesn't want citizenship for illegal aliens.

With Cruz, his commitment is to this nation, first and foremost.
With Richardson and many others, his commitment is to his skin color, first and foremost.
