It's just a last ditch attempt to inflict damage on GZ for a perceived injustice. Accepting the verdict for what it is and going quietly into the night would be taking the high road. Just can't have that. Besides, they know they will be able to pull Holder's strings.

This is a waste of time. The law was set up to protect people from a government agency that might violate someones rights. You cannot sue an individual for violating someone's rights.

Basically, the police department bungled the investigation from the onset, you do recall the police chief resignation, yes? I know if I was the chief of police and muffed a murder or assault investigation, I'd resign too so I wouldn't have to answer any questions later of how an investigation was handled.

I believe that's what feds might be looking into.

The FBI has already cut those strings. Their independent investigation found no such violation by Zimmerman. He was a model of diversity according to their findings.

Maybe if he held a "Justice for the 500 Black Youths Killed in Chicago since Trayvon" march folks would take him seriously.

To answer to title of your post, because Martin looked like, in Obama's own words, "what his son would like like, if he had a son".

The instructions were more than adequate. The charges need to fit the alleged crime. The jury must have thought they deciding the wrong case and got the wrong instructions.

A black man is killed by a black/hsipanic man and it is a civil rights issue? I am so disgusted with the sheep in this nation who give the media ratings to keep pumping out this junk allowing cases like this to even see the light of day. Sad...
