So, they should vote for the person whose policies keep them on assistance and out of a good job so they can remain the lowest class?
Well, actually I guess they would.
I can see a ballot in front of them when they are at the union meeting to vote on what they want to do in terms of their employer, Widgets Inc.:
John Doe is the millionaire who owns Widgets Inc. He lives in a mansion and drives really expensive cars and takes extremely nice vacations. Widgets Inc. employees 973 employees. 724 of those employees work in the shop and are part of our wonderful union. The shop pay averages $23.75 per hour, not including benefits. Please circle the choice on your vote in regards to the future of the company.
1. Widgets Inc. continues to operate as it does today.
2. Widgets Inc. is closed down and has it's assets liquidated and dispersed to the workers. We feel that each worker will be issue a check for approximate $26,233.18.
My guess is that there would be a whole bunch of Democrat supporters voting for option 2. Sure, they'd eventually go through that money and start trying to figure out how to get another job, but they can worry about that when the money runs out.
Hey guess what! I'm a single women, I have a full time job, a college degree, I'm not on welfare nor have I ever been, have never been on unemployment in my life & I vote democrat. What the hell am I doing wrong here?? Should I quit my job & get on welfare so I can fit into your neat ignorant package of who democrat voters are, just so you can turn around & call me lazy?
Well, this settles it. If his policies benefit the rich to the detriment of everyone else, Obama is the worst socialist ever.
Here it has been 5 years and I have yet to have any wealth redistributed to me. I'm starting to think Obama is less enthusiastic about the Glorious People's Republic of the United States of America than when I originally voted for him.
And if righties had their way those same people would be even worse off.
That's a pretty sad defense there.."less worse" then the other guy.
Well they didn't vote for "the other guy".
They voted for YOUR GUY who made them all these promises he didn't keep.

Aside from being black, what other reason could you possibly have for voting Democrat?

Huh....you're pretty narrow minded aren't you? Why would only blacks vote democrat? There are lots of reasons I vote the way I vote, I really don't need to explain them to you.
What takes years to get into, takes a few years to get out of.
Recessions aren't declared over and everything instantly recovers.
An honest question. When does the economy become President Obama's economy? Will it still be Bush's economy at the end of Obama's second term? If another Democrat is elected in 2016, will it still be Bush's economy through their first term? What if they get reelected?
Political leanings aside, it is something both sides are guilty of. Negative economic indicators=the other guy's fault. Positive indicator=that's all me.
Having said that, we are 5 years into the Obama presidency, he should have started taking ownership of the economy and foreign policy by now.
