Political leanings aside, it is something both sides are guilty of. Negative economic indicators=the other guy's fault. Positive indicator=that's all me.

Having said that, we are 5 years into the Obama presidency, he should have started taking ownership of the economy and foreign policy by now.
Can you show me where I said it was still Bush's economy?

Clarify your statement "What takes years to get into, takes a few years to get out of."

It reads like a clear attempt to provide an alibi for the stagnant economic recovery. If not, my apologies, I've been wrong before, and will be wrong again. No issues admitting it.

it takes longer than 5 years to repair a broken mortgage finance system and return housing back to normal

at the pace we're reforming things, this process could easily take another 20 years.

No, it's just rational. Like the tech boom and bust, and post 9/11, recession as well. Those were major hits to the economy that would (and did) take a few years to recover from. After any bubble that's what happens. Considering how other countries are faring we are doing okay, not the best...but steady.

If I need to admit to being in a reality based mindset with rational thought processes...yes I certainly will admit that. I am estatic to admit that actually. If I couldn't, then I would know I that I need to seek professional help.

I wasn't asking you to admit anything. Was saying if my observations were off base, I have no problem admitting it.

Obviously what they should have done is vote for Romeny who made the comments that he didn't represent the 47% of the people (the ones using assistance), and Ryans budget that would have completed elimiated help for those who needed it most. Obviously the ones that voted for Obama were the smart ones because they knew how shafted they would get if Romney won.

It's like being a patient in a hospital with a team (Obama) that's trying things to make the patient (people in economic distress) better. Sometimes it turns out to be a good idea, sometimes a bad idea. The alternative team (Romney) wants to throw these people into the street and wash their hands of them to help patients that don't need as much help.
Why keep bringing up Romney?

We conservatives didn't want him.

He is a progressive, just like Bush and McCain.

I'm not narrow minded at all, common sense dictates that you've got no real reason to vote Democrat other than the color of your skin. You don't need to explain anything, you just really don't need to.

*shrug*, as I said, you're narrow minded. Or maybe I should say you've got very limited ability to understand things. Black or white, that appears to be your mode of thinking.
