The Monsanto protection act is back and may be included in the new 3-month spending bill!

Though wrapped in a “farmer-friendly” package, the Monsanto-driven rider remains simply a biotech industry ploy to continue to plant GE crops even when a court of law has found they were approved illegally.

Will you join me in telling Congress to exclude this dangerous rider in the upcoming spending bill?

Center for Food Safety | Tell Congress to Dump the Monsanto Protection Act!

Thanks to those of you who care! It is a crying shame we even have to fight for something like this.

It is really surprising to me how few people even care about what is going on in this country with our food supply. The decline in intelligence of our society seems to correlate with the decline in nutrition in commercially grown crops today compared to the past. Combined with all the pesticides & other chemicals we are ingesting, humanity is pretty screwed, IMO.

I see we have another anti-GM anti-technology thread, LMAO

For those readers who want to see just how ludicrous and inane the anti-GM anti-technology crowd is read this thread:

GMO News and Discussion Thread

When it comes to facts and accredited statistics to back up their humorous fears they are sadly lacking... In the above thread of over 600 posts there isn't anything that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt GM crops are bad for ones health. All one sees is:

~ studies suggest

~ flawed research suggests

~ there is a possibility that...

~ four decades of research is not enough time to determine whether GM crops are good or bad, they need more research done...

The anti-GM anti-technology crowd would rather see millions of men, women and children die of starvation...

Anti-GMO writers show profound ignorance of basic biology and now Jane Goodall has joined their ranks

Knowing your libertarian leanings, would it be better if they had no oversight at all? After all, corporations know it'd be in their economic interests to not plant GMO seeds, like how they protected their crop to ensure it was good quality before the FDA was established We all know Upton Sinclair lied

There is so much wrong with our food, it is crazy. And then we wonder why so many people are coming down with diseases like never before.
