Those who are white are allowed to just..........be. Those of us are always asked to justify our thoughts, way of being, even our very existence.
Imagine how much better off this country would be if black people acted the same way instead of trying ti hide their racist tendencies all the time.

Except they aren't American Indians. They aren't even Mexican Indians. Mestiso means mixed race, any mix of white, black, and native Mexican.
I love how whites say that Mexicans aren't Indians, but American Indians are Indians even though they're all 1/8th Indian, LOL. Mexicans are Indians, it doesn't matter if you have some European blood, buddy, you're still an Indian. Who are you to say we aren't Indians? LOL. We ARE Indians.

Agreed and it's def time for the LatAm based Mestizos to STOP using the word "Hispanic" and just call themselves "American Indian", it least it'd be more honest.
That wouldn't be entirely accurate then. Racially they are mestizos a mixed race of usually American Indian and Spanish white. Most are Hispanic culturally because they speak Spanish. One cannot deny a part of their genetics/ethnicity while only referring to themselves by the other half.
Mexican culture is a blend of indigenous and spanish culture. Culturally we are Mexican. The language we speak doesn't negate the fact that our ancestors were here before 1492. Why is this so hard a concept for white Americans to grasp?
