Most organizing drives are killed long before any election can be held. As soon as anyone starts to try and organize a unionization, they get fired. The other employers are so scared, they typically either quit or completely abandon the drive. Almost no organizing drives get past that initial stage. It is not just a few publicized cases. Illegal activity by employers in unionization drives is the norm. Almost no employers obey the law!

Only a tiny percentage of organizing drives survive to the point where an election is held. If they can get that far, that means the shop is usually committed and/or the management unusually inept. Those are the ones that win, and they are extremely rare.
So you are against freedom of association???

Why do people think a union member should be allowed special rights under the law???

What makes a union member so special?

So you think burger flippers are below you? Is it important to you to be better than others?

Because union is a corporation like all the corporation union "hate". Only problem with union is they have no products and services to sell

There is a big difference between public unions and private unions.

worse how?
Paying union dues to corrupt union officials who steal from their members pension funds like Teamsters local 107 has done in the past? Why should I let a bunch of union idiots determine what wage is best for me?

I think anyone who wants to join a union, or start a union should be able to do so. By the same token, I feel that anyone who DOESN'T want to join a union to work somewhere, should not be forced to join a union.

Union membership should be voluntary, instead of many places where it's involuntary.

The only union I would join, is a Credit Union. I have membership in 2.

Why do homeowner associations exist in townhouse complexes and why are the owners required to join if they live there? Because it's for the good of everyone in the complex.

This didn't answer my question. In fact, I think you replied to the wrong post altogether because everything you've said is just one big non-sequitur.
