Yet people such as YOU completely forget, that in the 2010 elections, (why obama is not able to implement many things right now) that the DEMS LOST, not just a little, a LOT.....

Let's not forget, that not only did the repubs take back the House, but including the House the total dem seats that were lost were about 700 seats thoughout the United States...

Many of YOUR candidates lost, and many of your current candidates are following Ted Cruz recommendations.....why is that...
Oh, don't do that or her head will explode and then she'll call you a racist.

Once again, Ed, you introduce race into a conversation needlessly. Why is that?

What the Republicans want, more than ANYTHING, is to win the Presidency. They love authority like that. Unfortunately, they cannot seem to do so.

Better luck in say . . . 2020 or there abouts.

Do tell which Democrats are following the oh-so-wise words of Mr. Cruz. I know what you are going to say, but indulge me.

"To liberals: how do you guys defend Obama so willingly?"

Because it is so damned easy when the gist of the attack is that he is a socialist dictator from Kenya out to destroy Real America™.

He won the second term because:
1. The GOP ran someone who was out of touch with the average American.
2. Romney embellished and was caught too many times. He could have simply told the truth and only the truth and been very successful for it.
3. Typically Americans shun change.
4. Way to many lazy voters. They depended on the media to tell them who was best.
5. Finally The democrats have more hardliners than the GOP does. Hardliners will never vote for anyone outside their own party.

Romney telling the truth would have been far worse.

The man has lied to you over and over again. Oh sure he reads off speeches where he sounds like he is more "congruent with your own personal morals and ethics"and then he turns around and does the exact opposite. You are being played for a fool.

NOW that he is gone; I do very occasionally hear the lackluster voicing of displeasure. Even THAT is rare.
It stems from either ignorance or a short memory, on your part.

Possibly you were too busy hating Bush to listen to what any of us, or other Republicans had to say about his enacted policies and proposals. Plenty of push back came Bush's way on his deficit spending, immigration reform, Dubai ports deal, his letting Ted Kennedy write the education bill, his No Child Left Behind and Medicare Part D, and on and on....

Hell, I even gave you a quote from McCain being critical of his deficit spending, and you still play the fool.

You truly do not know much about Obama...no wonder you voted for him twice.

From the 2008 campaign:
Quote:
“I am someone who is no doubt progressive,” he (Obama) said, adding that he believes in universal health care and that government has a strong role to play in overseeing financial institutions and cracking down on abuses in bankruptcies and the like.
“I believe in a whole lot of things that make me progressive and put me squarely in the Democratic camp” -Obama

In 2000, Barack Obama, then a state senator, sat down with his two Democratic opponents in a race for the 1st Congressional District in Illinois and described himself as a "progressive urban Democrat."

Eric Holder also thinks he is a progressive and Obama is one too:
Speaking at an ACS convention last November, Holder announced that America would soon be “run by progressives.”

Daily Kos: "Eric [Holder] sees himself as a progressive."
