The typical liberal response of making your problems my problems.
It's so weird that the right thinks we consider how they feel to be a basis for policies. Why you want your problems to be a factor to others escapes me.
Why would the school or the teacher be to blame? If the parents would be a parent, the child would not be underfed....right?
Because the malnourished child will perform worse in school and on the standardized tests, which will then be used to judge the competency of the teacher and the school.
Good! It is not my responsibility as a taxpayer to feed other people's children.

Do you think the school lunch program is something new? It's been around since the late 1940s. One reason for the program was to give farmers a market for their crops.

What school work.........my kids are bored mad at school.........they don't teach em much of anything they are too busy having anti bullying assemblies and DARE assemblies and the like. Even though the last DARE cop around here drove his car into a tree high on meth he stole from the evidence room. What great examples.
So 1 million less are buying school lunches and their parents are now providing them with lunches to go to school? What is the problem?
Problem............Moochelle blew it is the problem. How much money and food has been wasted by this madness? Liberals of course don't care because it of course "feels" good to do. Common sense is what is needed.........and it has been lost. Those million parents have it though.
