But most conservative socialist views are based on Christianity.
Yet I'm not religious. Not even a little. I do believe in being conservative with money somewhat though. Don't believe in handouts. I have plenty of cousins who do believe in handouts and little work. I also disagree with your constant upstate bashing. It's not true. Maybe for you. This thread has gotten out of control.
lol, that is a vehicle bridge over a harbor, that they tagged a pediastrian sidewalk on. Not the same thing at all. I'm talking about a bridge in an urban area ONLY designed for pediastrians.
You get a good view of the ghetto up on Ravanel and the smell of the paper plant. Dont' forget about that. lol Plus N. Charleston in the distance.
You said Greenville has the best pedestrian bridge in the world?? Hmm, I think London's Millennium Bridge is quite nice. Much nicer than Greenville's bridge. Perhaps you would like to retract your rather outrageous claim?

Arguing with somebody brings out the best in people. Greenville and Spartanburg are nice places. Would I live there? No. Anybody will defend where they live. I don't like SC much which includes Columbia. When I move I'll probably as you call it "bash" it also. We all have views and opinions based on history or current issues. I'm sure if you weren't a conservative and didn't live in the upstate you'd do the same thing. Do you not remember the DOT issue thread with them fixing 385/85 interchange instead of the two busier more congested interchanges or the Gville vs Cola vs Charleston thread? All those had gotten "out of control" as you call it. And me I have no limits. Freedom of speech to the max.
Ok, correction. One of the best. lol You'll have to post like 500 other pediastrian bridges that are better, without a doubt, to disprove me of this. Good luck finding all those. lol That is why I made the claim because it obviously one of the best in the world given there are not that many of them that are that snazzy.

Seriously, there's plenty of very, very nice pedestrian only bridges and no, I do not need to post '500 other pedestrian bridges' to make my point (which is, in itself, a ridiculous assertion). To make your claim was foolish at best and smacked of provincialism.
Looks like I'm the fool again. I'm ok with that. Won't be last time.
You have't prove your assertion though. Haven't even posted 1. No pressure.
lol
It is far better than that London bridge. Only other bridge that stepped up to the challenge so far so I will give it credit for courage.
Yes, all those pedestrian bridges in Paris and Venice - terrible. I'm sure people would agree that Greenville's paltry bridge is far superior. And you're genuinely saying it's better than the Millennium Bridge? Wow.
lol, you've listed 4 bridges, and of course you listed Paris and Venice which I guess we are just to assume means they are better bridges simply b/c they are in Paris and Venice. lol
I said it was one of the best if not the best. I believe the bridge has won civil engineering awards and is recognized as being one of the best.
The Lookout Mountain bridge is better.
