Do you want examples or just samples?

I suspect one will not find much intelligent discussion on this thread.

Default House Panel Concludes There Was No Administration Wrongdoing in Benghazi Attack

Everybody already knew this.

But the rabid right had fun pretending it was real for a couple of years.

Oh, well. Back to the drawing board.

Cary on.

So be it.

I'm glad they looked into it, however.

It will be interesting to see how this is reported in the right wing media.

The intended damage is already done. Conservative pundits will continue to scream about this, and an ill-informed audience accepts everything they say as fact.

House panel: No administration wrongdoing in Benghazi attack - SFGate

Meanwhile, the GOP House leadership has given the House Committee on Benghazi $3.3 million of our taxpayer dollars so they can continue the "investigation." Hearings resume in September. Because, you know, there's nothing of importance happening in the country that needs their attention.

This is what gerrymandered districts gets us. We have at least two more years of this nonsense.
As opposed to the cost of our interference in Libya and Syria. As opposed to the current border crisis. As opposed to what it costs the tax payer for Obama to fly around doing fund raisers. As opposed to what it cost tax payers in law suits against cities and states trying to do something about illegal immigration because the Fed won't. How much did that poorly executed web site for Obama care cost?
I don't think that Obama holds the high ground when it comes to Government waste.
I am against all government waste. I don't care who does it. But to paint Obama as a victim? The man lies like a rug. Who can honestly take him at his word?

I haven't heard an apology from Issa yet, could this really be the end? His record setting unilateral subpoenas are bad for government constantly going his own way.

On a positive note Cummings and Chaffetz are having meetings in each others districts and working together, that is the way it should be.

Don't hold your breath waiting for an apology. The GOP seems intent on ignoring this report. Trey Gowdy is all set to pick up right where Issa left off. The first hearing is set for early September. Note the word "first" here. Looks like the Republicans will continue to drag this out as long as possible.

Which pretty definitively answers the question of motivation. This has nothing to do getting at the "truth" and everything to do with political grandstanding and smearing the administration. In other words, business as usual in the Republican House.
