Only 10% of Germans belonged to the Nazi party and look how violent that party was and got away with it until WWII

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Martin Niemöller who spent 7 years in a concentration camp for speaking out against Hitler
You understand that if you were a Muslim in France today, you might be concerned that "they were coming for you, and no one will speak out."

Discrimination, hatred, bias, ignorance. These our our enemies.

When someone makes a broad generalization, like the one I pointed out, that's bias. It's the basis for discrimination. The goal being to marginalize a group. Just like the Nazis marginalized the socialists, like the Nazis marginalized the trade unionists, like the Nazis marginalized the Jews. So no one would speak out.

These images don't paint a picture of a fearful Islamic community within France - this is from a few months ago.

No, I don't understand that, because I see zero evidence for this. All I see is how islamo-fascists go after everybody else. And I see how useful idiots defend them.

And the 90% of Germans that did not belong to the Nazi party sat by idly while 11 million Jews got murdered.
Silence is not always a virtue.

Put yourself into the mindset of a moderate Muslim living in France. There are already laws against burkas, and restrictions on your religion. You know intelligence officers are monitoring mosques. You know that there is a growing anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim movement, that has been gaining ground politically. Recent events have fed that anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim movement. So, a fear that you will be discriminated against, profiled, deported, or even attacked by anti-immigration extremists, and that no one will defend you, is a credible fear.

Yes, denial that the violent, primitive cult of an illiterate pedophile is the root of the modern world's evil.

My thought on this is - if there was a group of purple oompa loompas going around terrorizing people all over the world, and other purple oompa loompas found ways to justify these actions, even if not all of them took part - purple oompa loompas would be treated with extreme prejudice. It's called a survival instincts.

But go ahead and feel free to label it otherwise.
