Yes, coffee clerks teaching me about race. Just serve my coffee the way I want
and we'll get along fine, other then that go pound sand.

I mean that race-obsessed nonsense seems to be common amongst people with names like "Schultz."

No kidding but I swore off of starbucks a few months ago when I walked into one and ordered their
"Coffee of the day" and was told that coffee is only made in the morning and since it was 2:00pm I would have to order something else.

I did oblige them, I left there and went to the grocery where they brewed me a fresh pot of coffee.
We sat there and I drank one cup then took a second cup with me when we left.

Food Stamps Can Now Be Used To Buy Starbucks Coffee And Muffins - Business Insider
That is absurd.
I remember when food stamps had to be used for essential nutritional food, not junk food, alcohol, or other frivolous stuff.
In theory anyone needing food stamps must keep a tight rein on the family budget to make sure everyone is fed, clothed, with the power on. If someone is irresponsible enough to be throwing away $5 with their food stamps on one cup of coffee, instead of buying an entire bag of coffee(= how many cups?), they should have them reduced or taken away.

Their choice. Anyone dumb enough to pay $5 for a cup of coffee will probably be fine with it.

Wouldn't ya love to be in line behind somebody who decided
to engage the barista in a discussion on race relations?
Really dumb idea.
