Ironically some of the European countries are actually ahead of the US in privatization:

Sweden has adopted a voucher system for K-12 education ( privatization). New Zealand and Australia have also been moving towards privatization after years of public sector failures. Only in the US is a $9.50 cheeseburger that costs $16 to produce not seen as a problem by liberals.

That is a reality.
I have actually talked to a few different WWII veterans who have claimed that from their point of view the French would sit around and wait for the US soldiers to clean up towns and so forth while complaining that it wasn't getting done quick enough, while the Germans on the other hand would come right out and clean up their own towns and streets themselves almost as soon as the firing stopped.

What I really don't like is that it is still okay for somebody to use ethnic slurs against Germans and Japanese. Nips? Kraut? Seriously?

Should all white folks be responsible for slavery? Even the white folks who were born in 1985?

Should all Japanese/Germans be responsible for WWII ? Even a mixed Japanese/German like me? I was born in 1985.

Even my grandfathers had nothing to do with WWII, so do not call us Nips or Kraut.

Although I do agree it is not good to pretend crime didn't happen.
LOL I'm about German as an American be I get called Kraut and Square head all the time.

LOL... you realize Germany had slavery as well? IN Africa, but they even imported black slaves into Germany.

Slavery was imported to the United States by the British. The legacy was baked in before we were ever even a nation. Some places, like Canada were lucky enough to be too cold for plantation models of slavery.

How them Turks integrating into German society, btw? How is Africa doing decades after Euro (including german) colonialism? And who can forget how the German assault on jews pretty much jump-started the need for Israel, a major cause of destabilization in the middle eastern world, which has helped foment radical Islam?

Germany didn't import slaves into Germany. That is revisionist history to make America look good, which performed it's own Holocaust on the native Americans and on top of that had slavery. America has no credibility to lecture any country about its history. An American points one finger at another countries history and the world points 100 fingers back at him. Never forget that.

Your assertion is wrong. Provide your proof or retract. There was no system of African slaves in Germany.... Ever.

Turks integrate into Germany about like Hispanics do in the USA. What's your point?

It was the UN promoted by the US and British who came up with the backing for Zionism, the return to Israel. Maybe the USA supported the idea because they refused to accept Jewish refugees before the war, turning them back when they knew the fate that would befall them. Why did the USA refuse those people?

That's a good question. And precisely why Israel is necessary. Jews can't count on America or anyone else to protect them. They can only count on themselves. Had Israel existed before WWII, not only would the lucky ones who got out have had a place to go, but they would have also had an army to get involved long before the first American troops set foot in Europe.

US has fallen so far in so many areas, that it is only a myth that it is the best country to live in. That myth may slowly sinking as Americans expand their horizons and travel outside of their country, however it is a well known fact, that most Americans have never been outside their own country so how could they have a clue as to what goes on elsewhere.

What a sad situation.
Obviously trolling so Ill bite....What a joke! You obviously don't grasp the concept of what American Exceptionalism even means.

I'm using the 21st century concept, not the 19th century one. Language changes.
