Millennials in my company remind me of me and my gen when we were 20-something. Interested in our personal lives-romance, recreation, finding our place in the world, etc. lighthearted, fun loving, all the attributes that are part of being young. They do have different gizmos to work with and how they approach social situations but then so did we only to a lesser degree in terms of gadgets.

If you think that's an idiotic argument on the part of millenials, then you're either innumerate, or you're not aware of the facts of the situation.

But the times I've posted this, the responses are always:

"Too bad, I got mine."

Which is basically the boomer motto in terms of civics.
Yes but the millennials will get to deal with that massive deficit, how is that for compensation ?

And people wonder why they support Bernie.

Absolutely. To the boomers, the USA is "good to the last drop" - get all you can out of it before you leave.

Just read the stats on what the boomers did to this country. Case closed! (*bangs gavel*)

I think that once younger generations have the ability to turn the country around, we'll see some improvements.

We are saved.

How about just reverting medical care back to what it was in 1930 so that people actually die when they are supposed to.......before age 67 before they collect SS?

Just as we see with any thread where people are complaining about one generation, it soon becomes nothing but a generational war because the other side has its own complaints.

How productive.

All this because the OP wanted to brag that most Millenials suck but hers are amazing!

A vanity thread and we all took the bait.
