If my wife was having a breakdown and had a bb-gun I'd be wrestling it away from her before she got shot and not calling the police saying she's got a weapon.
Point a gun, whether its a BB gun or real gun at the police be prepared to win the Darwin award. Thems the facts ma'am!!!
Mentally ill people do things we do not understand. We need people trained in dealing with them. Far too often bad things happen to people who are having mental or medical issues.

That doesn't mean squat when a person levels a gun on a cop; ALL cops are trained to hit "center mass". Psychos ain't any better than meth heads, drunks and so on IF they try that crap I just talked about especially since fake guns many times LOOK real.

This woman and her husband had a death wish for her.
The husband should have informed authorities that she h a D a BB gun and that way the cop should not have lived with the tragedy of killing someone.
If the husband had given correct info the woman may have been tasered, or shot in her arm or leg.
There should also be a law that doesn't allow family to get more money than what the real costs are.

Usually I question the police and why they have to kill instead of wounding but in this case, it does look justified.
Cops are trained to shoot at centre mass. This is reality, not Hollywood fantasy.
