Question is, what would of been the charge for the white guy from Canada that did this? What would of been the punishment?
Probably a stern shake of the finger. Texas be Texas. Hispanics should have known better than to vote Republican and hopefully they are seeing what Texas thinks of them here.
Exactly. That she is not on LinkedIn does not mean she doesn't work as a waitress. LinkedIn is mostly corporate.
There are 650 people wth that name on LinkedIn, so what do you mean she is not there? Anyone can open an account in LinkedIn, but it is also possible she never opened one, and that does not mean she never worked. Someone not finding "an article" about her career means nothing.
She will pay a price for voting, but what is the point of making up stories about her never working?
If the GOP enrolled her as a registered Republican, she probably thought she can vote. How many others did GOP enroll and had them vote in the elections? Also, doesn't Texas have voter ID laws, which are supposed to prevent this?

I don't disagree at all. I'm saying she has a sixth grade education and apparently a learning disability so whether she is on LinkedIn or not, it doesn't mean she didn't work. The sentence and her treatment is obscene. She had zero impact on anything as a Republican voter in a red state who likely didn't understand since she came here as a child and her brothers are legal voters. But this is Texas and Texas will likely demonize her any way they can in addition to sending her to prison for eight years, fining her $5000 and deporting her away from her four children.

Nobody is separating her from her children once she gets out of jail. They are free to go to Mexico with her, or not as she chooses.

Hispanics who can legally vote have nothing to worry about.
In fact they support tossing out those who skipped in line.

Oh please. She certainly didn't have any trouble laying with men and birthing 4 kids like an adult.
So, you investigated 650 profiles with that name in 5 minutes and concluded none of them is this woman
Do you find it hard to admit you have no clue what she has done for living? You don't know the person, and yet you insist on saying she has not worked.
You not finding "an article" about her work record means nothing. I have worked all my life, and no one has written any articles about my career, and the same applies to pretty much every person in this country.
If you were arrested and convicted and had articles written about your life, your work would nearly positively be included.
None of those women on LinkedIn are Rosa Maria Garcia of Galveston who has been convicted of fraud.
Bottom line, this Republican voter cheated. She should be accountable.
But, again, I point out that 8 years is excessive. That is more time than rapists and drug dealers get.
