As someone who has never been a fan of Donald Trump, I have to say that was a very moving, emotional and inspiring speech.
I wish he communicated in that fashion more often, rather than how he has to this point.
I felt that way the night of the election. The tone in his victory speech was very impressive and I posted on C-D that I was optimistic. Then he began to send those middle of the night tweets and campaigning again, and my attitude changed.
America is the only country in the world together with Papua New Guinea that doesnt have a national paid family and medical leave policy. Worker's rights in America is appalling.
I think corporations already have this. I was paid 6-8 weeks, and was giving the choice to work from home until my kids were at least 2 years old. Let's not get too radicalized.

I want America to prosper, I don't think tRump was the answer when primaries came up (I didn't vote since Christie was done by that point and I had to register to be Republican for it), again when he won the nomination in July, when I voted by mail in October, when he won in November and I still don't as we go into March 2017.
We all want America to prosper. You can continue to doubt him, but at some point you are going to realize that the guy beats expectations.
Please don't use my message of praise to the guests for your political agenda. Don't we get enough of that from the media? There is no "however" when it comes to these guests. Shame on you.

However, didn't President Trump propose to drastically cut the budget for medical research?

I am sure he will go back to those and dems/pubs will go back to trashing each other. I will end my night on this good note, before it all goes down the crapper again tomorrow.....LOL!

Lucky you! Guess what. Most people don't work for corporations! Trump promised to help "the people." "The people" do not work for corporations. You like it when it's for YOU, but you're against anyone else getting it.
