I'm sure Trump can easily find some supporters who will gladly bend over and give him some more holes to aim at.

Media Refuses To Report What Trump Just Did, You

With what he has accomplished he can take a rest. Saving us so much money plus he is not being paid.

The contributing writer to the Forbes article uses the WashPo as a source.

Quote:
The president's three trips have probably cost the federal Treasury about $10 million, the Washington Post estimates, based on an October 2016 Government Accountability Office analysis of White House travel.
I don't remember where I read this, but when Obama was in office it cost about $3M every time he went anywhere (except Hawaii, overseas, Michelle's shopping trip to Paris, etc.). His entire trip when he first went to Chicago and then ended up flying from Chicago to FL in order to play golf in FL with Tiger Woods cost $3.6M.

THAT "trip"? I remember the outrage over it b/c it was billed as "Obama costs tax payers close to $4M to play golf with Tiger Woods".

From Snopes:

Quote:
Any presidential travel is necessarily costly in general (from an accounting standpoint, at least), but we note in a separate article that estimated expenses for presidential air travel are based on an accounting formula that is often highly misleading about the true costs involved.
So what is misleading?

My best guess would be adding the already budgeted salaries of the SS, WH staff members, military personnel, etc. in to the $3M.

It doesn't cost $200K per hour in fuel to fly a 747, does it?

From what I can find, it costs about $10K per hour.

On another note:

Let's say Hillary was sitting in the WH right now. Let's say she had more than one adult kid, that didn't get rich off off the fact that their daddy is an ex-Potus and their mother is a slime ball who ran a very shady foundation. Let's say the Clinton's were worth billions before Bill was elected and the adult Clinton kids worked for the family businesses. Maybe a job that require them to travel, frequently. I have so many friends who are all over the world on a weekly basis for business, and they don't make HUGE salaries - not even close.

Would anyone have expected the adult Clinton kids & their families to move to DC and stop running the Clinton family business?

I don't think so.

Trump either needs to stay in DC on the weekends or let the country know EXACTLY how much these weekends cost.

Does anyone have twitter? Someone should tweet him and ask him how he justifies flying to FL every weekend if the true price tag is $3M each and every time.

Until he explains it, no one is very happy with this.

What as he accomplished. He's signed executive orders which all presidents have done. And sorry he is not saving us any money, in fact he is costing us more.

Spent 30 days (save for weekends)writing executive orders? WHEW! Yeah. Give that wrist a rest. Go play some golf.

I'm completely blown away by the brainwashed masses.

I think he will change, but so far he's been a disgrace when it comes to fiscal matters.

"In January, Defense Secretary James Mattis ordered a review of how to “substantially reduce the program’s costs.”

They are still negotiating. Trump negotiates all the time. That is what he is good at. Read his book, "The Art of the Deal."
