And that's good news for all of us who depend on the ACA for our health insurance.

This is an excellent, and fair, point.

That doesn't mean the AHA is good or viable as it stands, however.

Yes, yes, fiats from the Executive branch are "good" when one party does it and "bad" when the other party does it. Spare me your hypocrisy.

Very nice way of trying to put lipstick on a pig.

The truth is the very far right faction of the GOP is going to torpedo any efforts to fix healthcare. They only want to rip everything down and will accept nothing less, the people who will be hurt by it be damned.

When the Republicans hold both Houses and the White House and can't agree on something as basic as their number one campaign goal your party has a problem.

But you just keep trying to convince us you think this is a good thing. In the meantime, the rest of us are truly happy to see this divide continue. Long live the Freedom Caucus. May they continue to keep the GOP from accomplishing anything for the next few years to come.

It's a disaster for those over 50 who are not high wage earners, especially if they live in a high healthcare cost areas, particularily underserved rural areas.

It could also mean a substantially higher rate of chronic illnesses entering Medicare at 65.

That it eliminates the mandate while continuing to require ERs to stabilize all who come through the door, regardless of insurance or ability to pay, increases overhead and the cost of healthcare to those who are insured.

It's going to be a tough fight to get this passed with Republicans and Democrats.

RINOcare seems to be a train wreck upon arrival. It needs to be repealed immediately when new Congress takes over.

Isn't it fun when we can't trust our government at all anymore They create things, and then repeal just for the sake of repealing. Stability and trustworthiness are like foreign words when it comes to our government.

Let's not forget subsidies either. Obamacare subsidies were based on need and costs for insurance in the county you lived in. TrumpCare is just a flat rate based on age group. From NBC news reports of expert analyses, there is a county in Alaska(R) where the subsidy is $25,000 annually and will now average $3000. In much of Arizona(R), the subsidies will be cut by 75% of what they currently are. In almost all of Trumpland, people, especially older Americans will be paying more for premiums and deductibles while receiving less in subsidies.

It is a good thing. We don't want whatever the GOP wants to "accomplish."

The debate is entirely about insurance coverage and not skyrocketing prices and record profits for privately-owned healthcare companies. European countries and Canada step in to help their citizens by forcing the companies to sell their products to their universal healthcare systems at SIGNIFICANTLY lower rates than the privately-owned healthcare companies in America are charging.
Yep. America is in a sad state of capitalist affairs.

This plan doesn't shock me, after Obamacare mandated for profit insurance that gives little actual care nothing shocks me anymore.

I would have been shocked if the republicans came up with a non profit solution, now that would have made my jaw drop in a good way. Looks like we will just continue on the F-UPED train as usual.

This is a very stupid mistake.
