If you accept the govt. knowingly spying on it's citizens in covert fashion - you're too far gone.
They can't do it on their own without help from the private sector.
Per the 2014 Snowden disclosures, the telecom service providers and equipment manufacturers are receiving payments from the government for introducing backdoors in their systems. The NSA also has people on the encryption standards committees so they have inside knowledge for cracking encrypted communications
CNN is not reporting this!!?? Lol. What a JOKE they are, not reporting one of the biggest government scandals of the decade.
And we're supposed to trust them.
Right? Everyone else is, even CBS and ABC.
But CNN were the biggest pushers of the Russia thing and told us that "To see Wikileaks, we have to go through CNN because it's illegal".
But yes, so far, if this pans out, hate to say it, but this makes Trump look correct on both the Obama tapping, and it destroys the Russia narrative due to Umbrage.
Me thinks CNN is doing damage control right now to spin this story...because if any of this will pan out, it will DESTROY their entire narrative on basically everything Trump.
So the CIA is doing what the CIA is supposed to do by finding ways to spy on our enemies? Is that the story here? Seriously, what do all you geniuses think the CIA does?
If you ever wanted to know why companies like Google, Apple and others are able to reach such extreme valuations and receive large investor support - it's because they know that the govt. has their back to facilitate spying on it's citizens. Information is power.
if you knew anything about tech companies they don't give a damn about your data. They merely wish to sell you stuff, build relationships that last a lifetime.
I know many of the folks deep in developing these technologies and they almost always disassociate the client from the data , even if just to protect themselves. Plus it is required by law in many countries that have real privacy ...
Worth adding Trump just rolled back user privacy rules last week. Now your ISP is not required to ask you or tell you...
i guess it is a good example of how much Trump cares about the average voter...
killed cable box plan.
killed the zero charge case.
killed the low income discount for broadband..
killed privacy rule..
FCC is DOA under Trump and Trump has destroyed the very structures that protect the public while removing regs that prevented abuses by ISPs and Cable services...
Wikileaks will get my full attention when it releases documents confirming that the CIA has been going after U.S. citizens with a modern day Operation CHAOS.
