Amazing you conveniently ignore that 99% of people shot by cops are non-complying criminals of all races and backgrounds. Follow police orders and you don't get shot, pretty simple

It's not just police brutality. It's a system designed for the rich. It's a system that allows some get away with things others get punished for.
Also speaking about the brutality aspect, if it's such a small issue why is it so controversial to want it addressed? When it does happen we make excuses for it. We don't care when the powers that be look the other way.
How is that misquoting you? It's exactly what you said.
So, when you're done throwing out your remedial-level insults, please cite these sources, the well-known facts you speak of, showing guys like Colin Kaepernick, J.J. Watt, Larry Fitzgerald, etc., as the violent criminals you stated they are. A majority, at that.
Or, have a seat and let the adults continue their conversation.
it has EVERYTHING to do with what we’re discussing...the fact is that the vast majority of Americans are opposed to police brutality. it would be like protesting against cancer. no one disagrees with your basic premise. the whole point of a protest is to bring about change. what change is being sought here? the goals of this protest have never been clearly defined. and don’t respond with, “that police stop killing innocent blacks”, because once again, nearly everyone already agrees with you on that
Again, nobody can argue with the players' cause. The issue of police reform for police brutality would help all races. That is why people like you are going off on tangents, and you still didn't really address what I said. People like you are trying to debate the logistics and semantics of protesting, not the actual issue. And if you're asking what change is being sought, you're just acting like you don't know. Police reform. It's literally been on the table for years now. Stop acting like you don't understand that people don't want to be shot over trivial things at traffic stops. Or even worse shot in the back while running away.
Standing while playing the anthem is both law and tradition. Is there anything about the flag or the anthem that merits a change from this tradition? Why do we want to shred the ties that bind us as a nation?

Why not simply address it?
Would the working poor fare better in a Lord of the Flies environment? How would such a dystopia help anyone but criminals?
Protesting racial injustice became disrespect for the American flag by NFL players after the bigoted " Snowflake In Chief " put his two cents in on the matter. If you were to point that out to any of those booing fans they'll pretend to not understand the English language.

But this "take a knee" approach was and is recent. It is illegal, rude, disrespectful, unnecessary and unlikely to persuade anyone of anything.

Standing is not the law; kneeling is not illegal no matter how many times you claim it is.
God help us all if we start mandating overt displays of patriotism and locking people up for refusal.

LMAO. That is the like saying that going to church every Sunday is what makes people not sinners.
Can you cite the law you are referring to? What does NFL football have to do with true patriotism or unity? It is a sport that promotes violence, alcohol, steroid abuse, and corporate cronyism.

It's not law. Why are you unable to discuss this honestly?
