It feels a little strange to have generals in charge but that's what Trump needed. He doesn't have the discipline or know how himself. At least it will probably bring some order to the chaos.

But we were warned by President (General) Eisenhower to beware of the military industrial complex and that warning is not being followed. What is being followed is the money.

Obama was a prime example of why ignorance does not work. He simply didn't have a clue or was trying to sell us out, either way, I am thrilled to know that Trump will rely on the experts in the field!

Those lucky generals! When this war proves itself to be the waste it is, guess who's gonna get the blame?

Huh? Trump famously announced that he knew so much more than the generals in running the military. He knows nothing about the military. That's why his trans-gender pronouncements are being ignored. As long as they ignore the fool we'll be okay.

Reports (if you can believe what his staff say) said that it took a lot of convincing to get him to agree. He wanted the troops out. He says it's different when you are president. Why? You get brainwashed by generals? Or, to give him the benefit of the doubt, you are privy to more inside knowledge?

Trump simply needs to listen to someone *other* than a Bannon. Or not just follow his own erratic impulses.

It's more the principal than the specific issue.

As important as Afghanistan may be there are lots of ways to totally screw up.

Trump will never have the ability nor background to make sound decisions without help.

So score one for Trump.
