Related to treason: high treason

Treason

The betrayal of one's own country by waging war against it or by consciously or purposely acting to aid its enemies.
So, when Trump said that he was happy that the Kremlin was hacking computers in the US?

Libs and Hanoi Janes actions prolonged the war causing deaths of untold Americans in country.
If the VC did not get the Libs backing they might have sued for peace much earlier on in the war.

And you come up with a but Trump in a thread about Jane Fonda

Explain to me how Jane Fonda prolonged the war? She was not president like Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson or Nixon. She wasn't even in congress.

Vietnam was a battle field where the ideologies of the western world against those of the Communists come at
loggerheads and American commies turned the tide to their side.

Team western world on South side
USA,Australia,South Korea, Philippines, New Zealand, Thailand, Taiwan, Canada

Team Commie on the North side:

So the American "communists" should be executed like you suggested before. Do you hate the constitution that much?

I don't like communists. They hate America, want to destroy our freedoms, hate our Constitution and are haters of everything to do with liberty.

Tell me, what is a Communist? What are the core elements of a Communist ideology? What's the difference between Communism and Socialism?

All they are to you are bad words you throw around at things and people you don't like.

Re-fighting a war 45 years in the past...is pretty silly. Mature people, and countries, acknowledge mistakes...learn from them, and move on. Vietnam was a mistake..there was NEVER a win for us there.

Now it's a tourist destination..and except for the occasional child who gets blown away because he/she stepped on an old land mine--pretty safe.

Jane Fonda? Even at the time, I considered it a PR stunt, laughed and forgot about it.

It's interesting... the power of pictures and fame....Tom Haydon probably did more then Jane to derail the war effort..and no one even remembers him.

So Richard Nixon(R) did not adhere to the enemies to the US when he personally surrendered South Vietnam to them?
