You said it. I didn’t. Hell, I wasn’t even talking to you, but if your ears are ringing and you take it that way, I’m satisfied to let you feel that way about it.

No skin off my back.

What gives, why are conservative Republicans, who are overwhelmingly White so preoccupied with issues affecting the Black community.

I know Black people that don't bring up Black issues as much as some of these conservatives
vocal activists given the media podium bring up black isues to which people respond. Trick is to use inflamatory language then stand back and pretend the outcry is directed at that demographic, instead of at the self serving activist. That strategy has proved to be foolproof and kept steaming hot by the media propaganda machine who does it's best to help the democrats divide the country.

Because it goes unnoticed and unnoted by trolls and activists, we are all in the same boat and what ails a fellow american causes pain in the entire community.

No one should stand still for lies which are the foundation of the terrorist group BLM whose rhetoric has resulted in cops being murdered.

When legislators who impact everyone enbrace the lies of BLM, furgeson, Baltimore, etc, there is serious concern for eveyone. This sets up an explosive atmosphere where cops are on edge, thugs see a green light to kill cops, B on B crime goes up and fear and hate are propogated.

BLM are the 'science deniers' the liberals so often attack, as they deny statistics, and care not a whit for the wholesale loss of black lives in places like Chicago and Newark, Nj.

So if someone knows the view of a few black people, he can therefore conclude all black people feel the same way????????

If no mirror is availacle, look into a big store window to see what prejudice looks like.

Conservative Republicans can do the exact opposite of what the OP says and simply ignore African American issues. That would be called racist too.

Politics has become all about power and rooting for your team. It has little to do with any semblance of rational discussion these days.

The only grievance I have with black people is that some of them seem to think that any grievances anyone has with them is because they are black.

Being black doesn't make you immune to criticism.

Inner city black community, where I live now. And guess what? I sometimes walk to the store in the middle of the night, and nothing bad ever happens! Are you surprised? You shouldn't be! If you are, there's a problem!

Anyone ever notice when states' rights get brought up, it's always about the right to do some terrible s--t? "Oh, no, the civil war wasn't about slavery, it was about states' rights!" Yeah. The right to own people.

As I've said before, there is nothing more inherently unAmerican than the confederate flag. Nothing.

Yes. As an American, you have the right to rock the confederate flag. But going on about your right as an American to rock the confederate flag, is like a guy protesting gay marriage while giving a BJ.

you know when I read subject lines to threads like "why are conservative republicans so preoccupied with <fill in the blank>", I can't help but wonder about the people who post this.

Some inner city White areas aren't very good either. Look up Bensonhurst. See what has happened to Black people who ventured through that area.

The same goes for those who start threads like "why do liberals" or "why do Blacks" etc.
