Funny that none of this has been mentioned in all the years he was a judge.
Probably because he WAS a judge - you know, rich, powerful, and with the ability to LOCK SOMEONE UP - not to mention that someone like that has the legal knowledge, legal contacts and financial resources to hire lawyers to file lawsuits that can make the life of a regular "Jane Doe" a living hell.
Rich, powerful and influential folks get away with all kinds of abuse of others all the time because people without those resources are AFRAID of them.
What part of that do you NOT understand?

Being a judge he'd be a local politician right? Perhaps they tried and no local journalist would go with it. Seems many locals know of his previous behavior and aren't surprised at all.
In fact there is very little surprise of thee accusations....just frustration that it is coming so close to the election.
So the guy with the ready insults,comments and itchy twitter finger on just about anything and everything has apparently been rendered mute when it comes to the pedophile running for the Senate in Alabama.
Why so quiet Donny - is it because you have no moral authority on this subject, lack the guts, or don't want to rile up all the women you have (allegedly) assaulted yourself?

Hard to know what he will do. His base, at least his baser base, likes Moore. However, Moore is Trump on steroids, and Donny may not like having someone steal the spotlight.
We are going in circles. Neither side wil change the viewpoint of the other. Let us agree to disagree and move on.
To the contrary, we have made great progress. We have agreed that 1) victims should speak up without regard for the political convenience of the accused and 2) you aren’t commenting on the credibility of the victims’ accusations. Were you trying to convince people of a particular viewpoint?
You are certainly welcome to ponder the political fallout that may result from these accusations, as these developments often have consequences. But as you admitted quite succinctly, these consequences have no bearing on #1 or #2.
Whatever viewpoint you are trying to advance, the most salient points (#1 and #2) are not in dispute. And it is important to remind people of these two central points as the discussion advances. So no, we aren’t going in circles at all. Give yourself more credit.
Gee, the guy who's ACCUSED of perversion has facebook posts claiming that "Corfman, has claimed several pastors at various churches made sexual advances at her," and" Purportedly Moore’s main accuser Leigh Corfman has had three divorces, filed for bankruptcy three times, and has been charged with multiple misdemeanors."
What a nightmare scenario for the Republicans. The Moore scandal is a no win situation for them. If they admit he even might a pedophile, they're accepting the fact that they had blinders on and have nominated a sick creep for office. If they continue to deny he did anything wrong, they are the anti-woman party who blames the victim and always assumes they are lying when they accuse someone of sexual abuse. And how are they to oust this guy from running? It appears there is no legal precedent when he hasn't been convicted of anything.
Then we have the voters. Assuming Moore runs, the voters surely wouldn't want to vote for him; they would be voting for a (possible) child molester. But voting for a Democrat? That would certainly be worse
