Only Scandinavians interested in coming to USA are the wealthy and or those who espouse the same culture of "wealth" that is common here but not so much over there. That former gay porn star, turned multi millionaire via real estate ( Fredrik Eklund) come to mind.
Scandinavians by and large do not understand many things that Americans seem to take for granted and or accept. Things like type of healthcare received largely depends upon one's income and or access to better health insurance. The "hate" most seem to have in this country towards the poor (the Protestant Work Ethic didn't really take that strong a hold apparently),
I believe that people that are happy living in Norway live in Norway and I support their happiness. Hell, if it wasn't so cold, I may like to live in Norway.
I've seen the comments about socialist Norway and frankly, I've never been there so I cannot comment on that.
I will say with confidence that Norway's economic system will never happen here and not simply because we are not homogeneous, but because the majority of our leaders on both sides of the isle along with the media are self-serving, elitist pr**ks that prey on the division of voters.
But you have to be homogenous to make that work in the first place. US is too diverse in many ways for that.
In those socialist countries you have to be "on board" to fit in or you are an outlier. US has something for everyone.
People I know who moved to the US from Norway have done better financially here, some are conservative now. They appreciate the freedom and breadth of choices in the US, that there is no limit to success and the states are unique.

I really don't understand why Americans have the misconception that Scandinavian countries are homogeneous; many "socialist" countries have a higher percentage of foreign born population than the US, meaning that they are more "diverse" than the US.
But I agree if you're into making money the US is the place to go.
She is a weird globalist puppet, who does the bidding of her corporate overseers. She would gladly destroy everything that is Germany, for money, and to stay in power.
Current Oslo weather: 29 degrees and snowing.
Current San Diego weather: 72 degrees and partly cloudy.
Uh.....I don't know, maybe? But if they don't then oh well, then we won't have any immigrants at all. The Democrats will have to find some other way to win elections.
Do Norwegians really consider the U.S. a sh-thole?
(One ignorant question deserves another.)
The overwhelming majority of Europeans, Canadians, and Australians have no interest in emigrating to the US, and that's nothing new. As much as they admired and respected President Obama, for example, they did not want to live in a country where people routinely go bankrupt due to medical bills; where it's only a matter of WHEN, not IF, there will be another mass shooting; and where the standard vacation time is 2 measly weeks per year.
I became a US citizen back in 2006, and, even then, I was one of the few New Americans at the swearing-in ceremony NOT from either the Middle East or Asia. Since Trump has been elected, Europeans are even more repelled by the US.

Give it time. When all of Europe is flooded by their new overlords, they'll be begging to come here.
Doubt it.
If they ever did want to emigrate, they'd make Canada and/or Australia their first choices, as the few who ever want to leave Europe already do. Canada and Australia share the same values as Europe, with universal healthcare, generous, paid maternity/paternity leaves, and other social programs in a strong social safety net. Where it's every man for himself in the US, Europeans, Canadians and Australians believe in the importance of the public good. Where Americans believe in the 2nd Amendment, even though 20 6-year-olds were gunned down, most people in Europe, Canada, and Australia -- avid hunters included -- are horrified by American gun violence and gun laws.
