None of this matters in the least, except to make Mueller look like a leaky partisan hack who is willing to use the anti-Trump media to make a small, and pretty pathetic, political wave.
It actually looks like Mueller whining that Trump won't answer his questions, because Trump doesn't have to.
It's highly doubtful that these questions were leaked by Trump's legal team. Anyone who did that would be both sued and disbarred for life. No one good enough and paid to be on the president's legal team would do that. Moreover, they have nothing to gain.
But what is a fact is that the NYT can make any claim that they want to about the source of the leak because they know that no one can call them out or otherwise compel them to release the exact detail in regard to who leaked it.
Thus, they have a free card in being able to attempt to (but ultimately fail) to keep any bad light from this leak from reflecting on Mueller; by lying about it. You know Mueller, the guy who wrote the questions and is the only one who has anything to gain from the leak.
The whole political stunt is very desperate, very weak, and an overall very bad look.
And why would the liberals still be trying to prosecute the guy who is responsible for more diplomatic progress on the Korean peninsula than the world has seen in 50 years?
The hostility seems misplaced in regard to Trump's allegiances, as well as outright dangerous to the interests of world peace.
I rarely watch Rachel because she takes too long to get to her point.
Tonight I did - and nary a screech did I hear. In fact, she was objective and factual as she read these questions and then had a very low-key, generally boring, national security person on to put his take on these q's and what they meant, if anything. The conclusion was the questions were generally topical - i.e., exploratory and could lead many places (no specifics mentioned) depending on the answers.
Both he and Rachel bent over backwards not to imply a meaning or be accusatory. All in all, quite a dry show, imo.
Rachel Maddow has never been anything but a storyteller for DNC and liberal narrative. I remember her disgusting acting performances at the time of the Ferguson controversy. She fully deserves any hate that she attracts. As the kids say, she's "in the game". Which merely means she's not innocent of corruption (by a long shot), and thus fair game to be attacked.

Mueller's team DOES NOT LEAK. Leaks hurt his investigation. It is against his best interests.
TRUMP and HIS ATTORNEYS DID LEAK - hoping you will BELIEVE that it was Mueller who leaked.
Clearly, it worked. "outside Trump's legal team" does NOT mean the original source was not someone who knows someone on the legal team.
The legal team used a buffer, plain and simple. Happens every day of the week.
