That’s the frightening part. We are watching the full force of The State go thru every crook and cranny of Trump’s life, his Family's life and the life of everyone he associates with.

Think of what that power could do to you if it decided you needed crushing?
Bingo! And there are a LOT of us who recognize the danger in that.

When you frame the situation with demonstrably misleading language then sure it can scare you.

The reality is:

The FBI was informed of Russian meddling into the election and initiated an investigation. Despite political posturing and constant attack by the investigated party the FBI has remained diligent in their investigation. The results of which are yet to be publicly known.

What does that have to do with a top FBI official claiming he'll prevent someone specific from becoming President?

Kibby said: I still maintain that there are at least 3 versions of the OIG Report - the original un-redacted report that went to DOJ & FBI & those interviewed for their response - the Report that came back with everything they marked that they wanted removed AND the final report with all the weasel words the public got to see.

I expect that National Security items are Re-dacted - this OIG report is not concerned with National Security - it's concerned with the Actions of the FBI in a domestic investigation. The clear purpose of the Re-dactions here are an attempt to white wash and save Reputations.

As to the "3 reports" - there have been many news reports about leading up to the release of the OIG Report - we KNOW from those reports that those involved were shown the relevant parts of their interviews and that those interviewed had a chance with their Lawyers to respond to the interviews. (That was version 1, leading to version 2 if their was any redaction/change to the interview). We also know there was a version that went to the top level of both DOJ & FBI before those involved were allowed to respond to their interviews ..... FBI & DOJ Officials/Lawyers had first chance at any "changes".

Finally we saw the Public Final version. This isn't supposition on my part, it's been widely reported leading up to the release. What we don't know is ...... exactly who (other than FBI/DOJ) has seen the report without any changes at all and we don't know who wrote the Preamble Summary & Conclusion (which honestly is what most read, if they read it at all).

I believe and "suspect" many things, but rarely most that. My posts are filled with links, not to blogs - but to reputable News Media and is actually delving into to the investigation instead of Stormy.

For instance - I "suspect" that the main concern in the DOJ & FBI and reason for re-dacting is not about "National Security", but is about prior convictions and credibility. Imagine what would happen to Court decisions of Guilt/Prison sentences if it became public knowledge that Evidence was "changed" at the FBI. That the famous (soon to be infamous) 302 personal recollections of FBI agents that are commonly used in Court cases were exposed as "changeable".

That is the "fear" and I don't blame them for that - it would be serious business. IF that is a part of this investigation - then they better figure a way out of it ...... and soon because 2 Federal Judges are making demands to see stuff that Mueller/FBI are refusing to turn over.

I believe (and have always believed) that the Clinton Email investigation would go nowhere from the beginning - reason being, IF they attempted to Charge Hillary Clinton with anything at all - she had a perfect defense. "They ALL knew and participated" - it would take down every single person she emailed or received email from.

The one who worked a total of a month or two on the investigation, was investigated and found to have taken no action as a result of his bias, and was removed from the investigation as soon as his improper behavior was discovered? That one?

top official? Come on man. Just stop trying to color everything with hyperbole.

Better described as a citizen venting over a political outcome of which he was not fond. Being a ranking FBI agent does not revoke your citizenship or your right to complain about an outcome.

The IG's finding is that no action was taken against Trump.

Why is he even claiming he can prevent anyone from becoming president, at all? The sheer pomposity and hubris of that claim is 100% unacceptable coming from an FBI top official.

Strzok was indeed a top official:

"In July 2017, Strzok became the top FBI agent working for Robert Mueller's 2017 Special Counsel investigation looking into any links or coordination between Trump's presidential campaign and the Russian government.[30][31] He served in that position until August 2017, at which time he began working in the Human Resources Branch.[32][33] According to The New York Times, Strzok was "considered one of the most experienced and trusted FBI counterintelligence investigators,"[22] as well as "one of the Bureau's top experts on Russia" according to CNN.[3] Strzok left the investigation in late July 2017 after the discovery of personal text messages sent to a colleague.[34]"

STATING, as an FBI agent, that you're going to interfere in a Presidential Election is INDEED a problem.

No he stated as a citizen which was his right and did absolutely nothing to interfere with the election of Trump.

I would suggest that he should have kept that stuff off government devices and the official record to preserve his career. But he violated no law in his venting.

Default Strzok committed a felony

FBI Agent Peter Strzok downloaded the content of the sealed Anthony Weiner Indictment, October 29, 2016, to his personal email address. Unauthorized extraction of a sealed SDNY indictment, and transmission to a non-secure system, is a felony.
