What scares Salon, is during Trumps inaugural speech, he said he was going to take the power from government and give it back to the people.
Promises made. Promises kept.
The easiest way to make a million dollars: write a book that makes outlandish claims and caters to hysterical members of certain groups (left, right, or libertarian).
The confirmation-bias economy will always be thriving regardless of economic cycles.
Better yet, hire a ghost writer to do it all for you cause you can't write a book yourself. Who are you kidding? You can barely read!
Your constitution was written in a time when the culture was very different. Most of the founders couldn't imagine a society without slaves, or a society where workers had rights to a safe environment, or when women and blacks had the right to vote and a voice in the machinations of govt. Much of your constitution wasn't relevant. That's why more and more amendments and more and more social engineering by the courts. Laws are not delivered by God into congress and the courts. They are made by men and are thus prone to error.
The US Constitution has been amended for a grand total of twenty-seven times. Of these, ten were the original Bill of Rights, and another three were used to reinforce the abolition of slavery -- at the cost of a Civil War; that leaves only fourteen, several of which, like Prohibition, revolved around some superficial cause of the times.
It is the people over in Left Field who consistently seek the aggrandization of power when they don't get their way.
So last night I see a bunch of protesters holding up signs that say "We Want Our Constitution Back". I thought that was ironic since Obama shredded "their" Constitution a long time ago when he appointed liberal activist judges that make laws from the bench to fit a political agenda. One only has to look at the 9th Circuit to see how the liberal judiciary ignores the rule of law in favor of politics.
This is what has the left going bonkers. They just don't grasp that judges and justices are supposed to interpret the law and the Constitution as it's written, not according to what they want it to be. The legislative branch of government makes laws and judiciary interprets and applies the laws, but the liberals don't understand the difference.
The left also acts like abortion and gay rights are the only thing that matters and that tomorrow all that is going to change and go away. It isn't. The Supreme Court just doesn't overturn precedence on a whim. People are whipping themselves into a frenzy because of the leftist media and most of these protesters don't even understand how the judiciary really works.

He took power from the Government and gave it to large corporations. The people haven't seen much on Trump's watch.

Uh ... no.
Have you actually looked at his cabinet?
Can you name any of them? Do you know their backgrounds?
You are the one waving the constitution around as if its a relevant document. Its not.
The US Constitution isn't a relevant document? That's an interesting opinion.
I suppose you have no expectation of having any First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, Thirteenth Amendment, etc., Rights?
