The answer is nothing.

What he said today, that he believes Russia over USA security, is bizarre.
No reason to deflect.
It is one of three things and two are truly disturbing and problematic.
1) could be he took the high road in public but really came down on him in private.
2) there was actually collusion in the election.
3) Trump doesn't want to be called a delegitimate president due to the meddling and disinformation produced by the Russian government.
We'll never know the truth since it was a closed meeting.

All I can say is we should not have Russia help in the investigation at all. That isn't gonna turn out well for anyone besides Russia.

So does that justify what he did today. The guy arguably committed treason defending Putin while throwing his own intelligence experts under the bus.

Trump on his Apology Tour. Russia is our friend, the FBI is our enemy.

No, not an apology tour. An azz kissing tour. Putin owned Trump and yanked him around like a dog on a leash, getting him to do the amazing stunt of throwing his own country under the bus . Trump is Putins b*tch now and the world now realizes it.

In other words, Putin just grabbed Trump by the p*ssy and made Trump take it, and act like he liked it .

Trump simply should have canceled the meeting, for openers. Other nations' leaders cancel meetings with foreign rivals/adversaries for far less than what Russia likely did. Beyond this, Trump should instruct DoD, Intel services, etc. should:

- Beef up firewalls of election polling places and critical national infrastructure (defense is first).
- Launch a "real news" campaign at Russian internet sites.
- If possible, prepare a modern type of Stuxnet to take out Russia's internet infrastructure (against the government, oligarchs, and others as appropriate).

But, this is what a sensible president would do. Alas, we won't get another one for at least 2.5 more years. But at least there's November.
You should vote because voting, serving jury duty, and volunteering are the ways you participate concretly in your nation's development.

Is it any real surprise that Russia agrees? I guess Trump got his bonus check.

Thread Title: Trump says US is entirely to blame for bad relations with Russia

This is what Trump said:

I hold both countries responsible. I think that the United States has been foolish. We've all been foolish... We should have, frankly, had this dialogue a long time ago. I think that we're all to blame. I think that the United States has now stepped forward along with Russia... [the US and Russia have] both made some mistakes...

So you think he’s wrong. You think Putin is the bad guy and Bush Senior, Clinton, W, and Obama haven’t done everything in their power to keep Russia down.

Do you really believe that?
