Apparently a lot of things happened between "fighting British Monarchy" and today.

There is a lot wrong with the American left . Nevertheless, Trump got rolled in Helinski and the world got to see who was the Untimate Master and who did the kowtowing.

The pee tape doesn't seem so far fetched after watching the Helinski summit . Putin owned Trump .

LOL - this is satirical sarcasm, right?

Sad day in America.

Stupid picture, stupid article, intended for flaming.

"But this is unfair to Chamberlain, who, although deeply wrongheaded, was in fact a serious and patriotic man. Trump’s performance in Helsinki was something else altogether, a performance so servile that we struggle to place it in context, because there are no parallels in the history of the American presidency."

Really?

Kiev is the first capital of Russia; Russia grew out of Kiev, and later incorporated the "Ukrainian part" into its Empire. And then this very Empire wrestled Crimea from Tatars.
Learn history for Christ's sake, before you jump into discussions.

Aye ‘‘tis true, and unfortunately there is lot of wrong on the right.

We obviously have a president that just threw the US under the bus, and there should be universal American rage, not dangerous tribalism.

I would say by Trumps own actions of this week it’s quite clear he is doing the bidding of another.

What of my statement indicates a criticism of a stance against non-aggression? My knock is against that wing that fronts itself as an unwavering brick-wall against war aggression, imperialism, interventionism, expansionism yet falls in line like an acquiescent servant to play government lawyers for governments such as Iran, Syria, Russia, etc... if for nothing else than for the asinine opinion that even disagreeing with their obviously criminal behaviors may give the appearance of falling for supposed U.S. government indoctrination and beating the war drums. You can equally:

Oppose Assad's genocidal rampage against his own civilians and U.S. involvement in Syria.
Oppose Russia's annexation of Ukrainian territory and U.S. involvement in Ukraine.
Oppose Russia's election interference and America's likewise election interference.

Not so apparently if you're a Glenn Greenwald Leftist or a Ron Paul Libertarian.
