Of course they do. Trump is a Crook and always has been. He thought being the President would exempt him from his s*it. His arrogance and narcissism have no bounds. He probably truly is surprised that all Crooked roads are now leading to him.
The hubris is/was so great it clearly never occurred to him or his cronies how much scrutiny he’d be under as an elected official.

Cohen arranged payments to Trump’s mistresses at Trump’s behest.
Cohen stated that he knowlingly committed a campaign violation at his candidate’s request.
His candidate actively participated in an illegal action just before the election.
But, yeah, let’s keep trying to claim that none of this is specific to Trump.
