I think we are at the tipping point, and trump is a temporary bump in the road for the Progressives. People realize they can vote themselves "free stuff", so it is only a matter of time. Half of the populace pays no Federal Income Tax. Statism, and Globalism will win in the end, and there will be no "revolution" to avoid it. Oppression will follow, and depending on how harsh it is will determine people's reaction.
But do you think we're built to last as a country or were we just a prototype that started with a great idea but had flaws to keep going and we won't be the same country in the future?
I believe that the United States is the greatest nation on Earth and it will last for many decades. There really is no other country that can touch the United States.
We just need to keep voting Republican to make sure this nation remains strong and stays true to its original values.
The USA is built on an obsolete idea and it behaves like it's still fighting for it's own freedom.
NOTE TO AMERICA:
You won. Relax, sit down and have a beer.
in fact we ARE fighting for our freedom. remember freedom isnt free, the price is eternal vigilance. we as a people and as a country have to stand up for our freedoms otherwise they die on the vine.

Yes, but a good chunk of those who pay zero income tax are toothless racists in the South/Appalachia and ultra conservative white senior citizens who are stuck in their ways. Republicans could campaign on reducing their Medicare/Social Security benefits, yet they would still blindly vote for the Repub candidate.

Let me give you an alternative version. A Dirty Bomb goes off in DC and other population centers. The country becomes centrally unmanageable and people realize that DC wasn't providing any kind of value to start with, and go back to small sovereign states and republics, living more happily and with more freedom than before.
That's the far more likely scenario than globalists and statists winning the day and imposing Chinese and Soviet style oppression on the free-est people that have ever lived.

Well, short of hoping for a "dirty bomb" going off in DC...…
The fact is we have been moving pretty quickly towards a centralized, Soviet style state since the Civil War when State's Rights were crushed. Both parties want more, and more government, and control. One just wants it a little faster. People have been conditioned over generations to be obsessed with government provided safety, and security. Traditionally women have been more susceptible to this fantasy, but now the Soy Boy generation is right along with them.
Regardless of who you vote for, regardless of how patriotic you are, things change. What we have today may not be around tomorrow.
It's a scary thought, and as much as we wanna say "God Bless America", all good things come to an end. Nothing is promised.
Some think an idiot president will destroy us, some think we'll be destroyed economically boy foreign powers. Left things right will destroy us, right thinks left will destroy us. The truth is we'll never know.
But do you think we're built to last as a country or were we just a prototype that started with a great idea but had flaws to keep going and we won't be the same country in the future?
The cancer, aka socialism, has spreaded. We are only one election away to become a socialist wonderland, I mean, bleephole.
Conservatives hate America as it is today. They only love their idealistic theme-park version of 1950s America that never actually existed.
It did exist. I know, I lived it. It wasn't perfect but a lot better than many things today. Liberals on the other hand want to destroy everything good about that era with their anti-American, anti-Christian, anything goes attitude.
Reading some of these posts convinces me people are whacked out. One blames Rush Limbaugh, the next.....U.S farmers, then on to the right claiming the left has gone socialist........"well, that's true".
It continues to prove over and over that uninformed people shouldn't vote.........In fact, unless you own property you shouldn't get to vote. Period

Toothless racists? LOL! If they are that poor then they are voting for the Democrats to continue their welfare payouts. What's with the racism part anyway? What does racism have to do with any of this?
