Sure freedom is free...that's the beauty of living in a modern democratic state; your freedoms won't die as long as you have a say in them.
Spoken like a true Canadian with absolute trust in the always benevolent government because we can "vote" for our politicians. Neither the U.S., nor Canada is a Democracy. Even it if were, remember, ultimately the parties choose their candidates to appear on a ballot, not us.
On very shaky ground, not much of a country anymore, IMHO. If and when a internal-war or something similar breaks-out, that will just put a exclamation-point onto this fact.
I doubt that the U.S. will disappear anytime soon. However, I think that U.S. hegemony is fast winding down. And it think it's possible that the Trump years will undermine the basic ideas and behavior of America in a way that we never dreamt was possible.
What Trump is doing is restoring the basic ideas of America - and correcting the bad behavior that has been contrary to it for so long.
Regardless of who you vote for, regardless of how patriotic you are, things change. What we have today may not be around tomorrow.
It's a scary thought, and as much as we wanna say "God Bless America", all good things come to an end. Nothing is promised.
Some think an idiot president will destroy us, some think we'll be destroyed economically boy foreign powers. Left things right will destroy us, right thinks left will destroy us. The truth is we'll never know.
But do you think we're built to last as a country or were we just a prototype that started with a great idea but had flaws to keep going and we won't be the same country in the future?
All Empires collaps when they expand beyond their means.
It has huge swathes of temperate, arable land, second only to the northern European/Russian plain. However unlike the latter it is surrounded by oceans and easily defensible. It also has the best riverine network of any continent.
British North America was also lucky in that the first European settlers, who came to dominate the lands they settled in, brought a sophisticated legal and social system with them.
These two pillars of the US, geography and society, engendered more success and thus far the system has been self-perpetuating.
The only other region that is similarly situated is South America, which lacked the superior social institutions brought by the British and has underperformed comparatively.
I don't think the US is on the verge of collapse. I mean, the Gauls sacked Rome and then Rome conquered the Gauls. It makes a lot of sense for the US to eventually expand, probably in an altered form, to encompass all of the Americas.

I think America is going to survive this current epoch we are in. Trump is not the reason why America is on the decline, but he is the result of failed policies that failed the public and the republic at large. Right now America is still the largest economy, still has the largest military, and the US Navy controls all major trade routes thus far. Neither the Russian Navy or PRC Nave can not check the American Navy. But to defeat the enemy like America. Most super powers needs to be defeated on the inside compared to the outside. Case in point the Greek Macedonian Empire, The Roman Empire, Umayyad Empire, Mongol Empire, The Spanish Empire, the Ottoman Empire and the British Empire, the list can go on. These once great Empires all fell from within for various reasons such as poor economics, religious tension, taxation, outside forces creating trouble within. Russia and China knows that in order to defeat America, America needs to die from within. No point trying to invade America which is the most armed nation on earth. Instead of having an invasion in which white racists and pro blacks who don't mind killing invading Chinese and Russians, those that be outside are willing to stir up tensions here to make people Trible and go at it against each other and for America's enemies such tribalism on race politics and sex is seen as a good thing and a blessing.
America is not going to last. No nation lasts long. Well the Byzantine Empire lasted for 1000 years, the Vatican as a state been around since the Charlemagne granted Papal States. Venice was a Republic from the events from the fall of Rome, to Napoleon Bonaparte ending the Republic of Venice. The United States can last for a long time. But in our epoch, a decade now is comparable to a century prior the 20th century and before. Instead of the United States lasting for another 700 years, I would say United States has another 70 years at best. The United States will suffer from problems exhibited in most large military Empires such as taxes, inflation, over extension.
Economically the United States can be challenged by the EU, and only if the EU eliminates autonomy across the board and creates a super state based on the ideals of the mother and father of Europe Greece and Rome. Another challenger is an unified Eurasia with China and Russia supporting a currency that replaces the US dollar. America needs to watch out for the resurgent Russia, and rising China and India. All three are challenging American hegemony directly and indirectly.
As of this politics, race, sexism piece going on now in America. This stuff wont break the nation apart, and is just a hiccup in the road at the moment and most of these folks doing such stuff will stop what they are doing, give up or just die off. At the end of the day, Sjw, alt-right, pro blacks and feminists are all fighting for the same thing and that is economic representation. When China and Russia invades, both the black and the white men are the same in their eyes and that is the American enemy. No point trying ot be a Benedict Arnold you SJW/Feminist when the Russians and Chinese really want to send you to a gulag and have you killed slowly.

White American natives should have reservations or sanctuaries, kind of like American Indians. They would be semi-autonomous jurisdictions independent from federal, state and local law. Only If you meet the ancestral standards you can reside there if you choose to, and can freely come and go.
This might especially be an attractive option for lower middle class to poor whites, who can't afford the neighborhoods free from lower class diversity and foreigners, crime etc. Upper income class whites can afford their exclusive neighborhoods and already have their sanctuaries.
