" but they don't make things up out of thin air."

Sorry to burst your fantasy bubble but not only have they been CAUGHT but some have had to do revisions AFTER being exposed which they ONLY DO AFTER being caught.

The President of ABC went on PUBLIC and said, "We have to be RIGHT, NOT just FIRST with our reporting AFTER being expose for for reporting lies.

You obviously are not old enough to remember when CBS was exposed after doing a story on how some Chevy pick up trucks would explode when broadsides.

After MULTIPLE attempts the truck NEVER exploded.

Being they were hell bent on doing the story they PLANTED EXPLOSIVES so the truck WOULD explode an ran with the story.

NBC wanted to do a story how some plant was killing the fish in the river.

Lo and behold they could NOT find any DEAD fish, so what did they do? They found a pond put fish in it an KILLED them showing ONLY the dead fish AND TELLING EVERYBODY the film they aired showed WAS OF THE RIVER..

CBS had to apologize for the hit piece story dan rather dd on W.bush.

Rueter's wa caught docto=ring picture to show whatthey WANTED the people KNOW during the Iraq wr.

They also claimed the had an inside man giving then info on what was happening there.

Come to find out the man was NOT a Capt as they claimed and KNEW IT. The man admitted he gave them the "story" he KNEW they wanted and made up MOST of what he told them and NEVER LEFT CAMP.

I could go on and on.

The media has a LOWER approval rating then even Congress and HAS HAD for DECADES for a REASON!

Time Warner, who owns CNN, gave almost a MILLION dollars to the hillary CAMPAIGN. no bias there!

I believe your either very NAIVE or so politically biased you CAN'T see past your own nose.

I'd bet you do NOT KNOW most major media is owned by only SIX corporations.

This helps to explain why there is so much bias in the media...

IF YOU HAD A HUNCH THE NEWS SYSTEM WAS SOMEWHAT RIGGED AND YOU COULDN'T PUT YOUR FINGER ON IT, THIS MIGHT HELP YOU SOLVE THE PUZZLE.

ABC News executive producer Ian Cameron is married to Susan Rice, National Security Adviser.

CBS President David Rhodes is the brother of Ben Rhodes, Obama's Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications.

ABC News correspondent Claire Shipman is married to former Whitehouse Press Secretary Jay Carney

ABC News and Univision reporter Matthew Jaffe is married to Katie Hogan, Obama's Deputy Press Secretary

ABC President Ben Sherwood is the brother of Obama's Special Adviser Elizabeth Sherwood

CNN President Virginia Moseley is married to former Hillary Clinton's Deputy Secretary Tom Nides.

Ya think there might be a little bias in the news? Ya Think?

There can be no determination because of the redactions, all we know is that there were 3 investigations in which Flynn assisted.

given all the unethical behavior that has become SOP for the corrupt DOJ legacy bureaucrats, I get the impression RM is tossing that statement out as bait to make people nervous. Or a smoke bomb to flush out others to spill their guts. Too nebulous of a statement for a trained lawyer steeped in politics. Every word counts. Appears as if it we in code or a dog whistle to the media to feast on the speculation.

Given the make up of Mueller's team, can't trust anything he says is as it appears.

Big puzzlement, how and why was RM allowed to pick declared Trump haters to be on his team???????

If the situation were different, dems and media would be screaming NO justice! and calling their minions to revolt! that is exactly why the Mueller investigation has zero credibility, the stacked democrat team and a limitless investigation that is severely restricted in the direction of Trump while ignoring, rosenstein Hillary, obama and gang. This is what is known as a kangaroo court. Republicans accepting delays by the DOJ and its agencies was a colossal mistake. Still waiting for Hillary emails. Dumb as rocks as democrats eat their lunch.

Sure, there are post-conviction turnaround stories. Martha Stewart, whose conviction was probably unjust, is one such success story. Another is the Watergate figure John Dean. But the fact remains, that such convictions destroy lives - even if they don't result in jail-time.
Martha Stewart was convicted partly of the same thing Flynn was. You can't lie to the feds or do insider trading. However she did do more time than the three Mueller has gotten convictions for so far. 44 days so far.

Even with a felony conviction it is possible for Flynn to get a federal security clearance. Not sure if that is even necessary depending on what he might do in the future. He will be fine. He can write a book and live off of that and his federal pension. His life is certainly not destroyed.

Look at those who actually served real time for their part in the Watergate break in. None of them got 14 days or no jail time.

https://www.history.com/news/waterga...e-are-they-now

Most of them had successful careers. Liddy used his status as a convicted felon as part of promoting his talk show career.

You seem like you are trying to take a few slaps on the wrist and make a molehill into a mountain. These are well connected people. Not your average Joe.

He can declare that his career is complete, and retire. Likewise with Manafort. Jail is his biggest problem - not security clearances or future employment. For the younger guys - Papadopoulos, Alex van der Zwaan, Rick Gates - it's a different matter.
I don't think Papadopoulos is a "slippery operator". If you read about what he did he simply was naive and overzealous in trying to prove his worth to the Trump campaign. Obviously he won't ever be working for a political campaign again. That option is over. However he has a masters degree, speaks 4 languages and has worked as a consultant in the oil and gas industry. Besides losing 14 days of freedom I don't see how is conviction will have any effect on his life whatsoever. I have had employees with somewhat minor driving infractions who have spent more time locked up. Alex van der Zwaan is an attorney. What is going to change for him? He did get the harshest conviction so far of 30 days. Rick Gates, who knows. He could serve 5 years or nothing. I am sure there are plenty of opportunities for a guy that has the vast connections he has. I am not losing any sleep over his future. I doubt he is either.

These people are not living in homeless shelters trying to pick up the pieces of their lives. They are well connected politicos who have endless opportunities.

And remember there is a significant part of the political world that believes that this whole investigation is not warranted. So people like Gates will get sympathy and a helping hand. I don't agree with that assessment but many powerful people do.

Why do you assume all burger flippers are minority? Where my summer how is located the vast majority of them are white.

The Mueller investigation has been solid, experienced investigators and prosecutors that have a long history from corporate crime to the mob. He wanted to move on Flynn, even Trumps inner circle wants to see this end and this is the first step. Who are the democrats on his team that are criticizing, do you have any names and details or just innuendo.

I see that Trump supporters are preparing for the bad news by claiming deep state.

he will be pardoned, IMO.

unlikely, and if he is it doesn't change the situation. mueller is recommending zero jail time so that's not affected and flynn seems to have given all information to the satisfaction of mueller.

Yes, when Trump, Inc. collapses like the house of cards that it is, Hannity, Limbaugh, etc., will be blaming anything and everything except the fact that Trump has been running a criminal organization for decades and is probably the most dishonest and corrupt miscreant that ever crawled out from under a rock. "But...but...but...Hilary!".
