Trump pretty much owned Nancy and Chuckie. The American people want border security and the Democrats have nothing to offer on that score.

I'm glad this meeting was made public so that Americans can see that the Democrats don't give a damn about true border security. They won't even honor their promise back in 2006 to build the wall.
I disagree. Pelosi whined about the press being present and Schumer kept looking at his crotch as if asking himself,"Where are my b@lls?"
Trump made them look like the fools they are and it's clear they could care less about the safety of Americans. Sensors, electronic surveillance, etc. without a wall is like owning a house with a security system and no doors.

Trump has altered his original desire to build a wall on the entire border. He merely wants the 700 miles built already approved by congress back in 2006. How can so many be so behind the times and misinformed? He's asking for $25 billion to complete it. No way would $25 billion cover the enter border. Geezus!
When Schumer walked Trump into that rant on owning the shutdown -- the grin on Schumer's face is hilarious. He knew what he was doing.
Reality -- nobody who owns the shutdown is going to win the shutdown -- lol. No matter how they spin it -- Trump owning the shutdown -- taking it on as his baby -- won't end well for him.
It just won't.
I couldn't stand Pelosi but boy did she stay focused, on statement and not flinching.
The only way Trump can prove her wrong -- let the House vote.
She really got under his skin when she used the phrase "Trump Shutdown". Trump got all emotional and somehow worked his away around to where he would then 'own the shutdown". All his negotiation leverage gone. *Poof*.
