Pelvic prolapse is imminent. Not just uterus in case she gets a hysterectomy, but cystocele, enterocele and rectocele. That aged body is not designed to do the job it just did, even if the job was successful there will be payment due.

And wouldn't the stress of labor put a woman - which nature has decided is to old to withstand birth - at tremendous risk?
Her doctors decided she was healthy enough to do it.

Hormones are provided to prepare the uterus to receive the embryos created by IVF and maintain the early pregnancy. Once the placenta gets going it provides the necessary hormones.

I wonder if they ever heard about adoption? That is where you raise someone else's child and, due to interaction with the parents, reflect your values and beliefs. It is new concept they are trying out.

Pelvic prolapse is not guaranteed. Where do you get that idea?

Then should heterosexual couples not use IVF or surrogacy either? Just adopt?

Just think how different this world would be if every parent loved their child to this extent.

You've got me. There have been mothers in the same age range that have successfully acted as surrogates for their own daughters, but I guess those situations aren't as controversial as the gay son situation.

They are Mengeles experimenting on vulnerable people, like the Michael Jackson and Octomom doctors and those who do full transgender surgery.

She should not be exposed to such hormones at her age, actually no one should, but especially a post menopausal woman.

People I know who have adopted have gone through years of crap and two never got to adopt. These were successful, middle class, heterosexual couples. I imagine it is even more difficult being a gay couple.
