It's impressive that she could carry a baby at that age. I wonder if there was a c-section? I suppose from her perspective she births an offspring that might successfully reproduce.
I see struggles for this child. She is the mom whether she likes it or not. I mean who are they going to say is the mom when this child is able to talk? Would they say she doesn’t have a mom? That makes no sense. This child isn’t her sons daughter, it’s his sister! He can help raise her, but he will never be her father.

But she is not the biological Mother. It was not her eggs. They just used her instead of a surrogate.

Would you say to every man who has ever adopted a child that he will never be her father?
Yes, in this one publicized case....which proves it CAN be done. What I want to know is how much of an exception was this, and if ordinarily it would NOT work. Is it a 1 in 50 chance of success? How many times has it been tried, and failed?
(No need for the snark.)
Does that matter? Perfectly “normal” couples also have risks and “cheat” with medical help. Why call out this specific case?
Will the day ever come when right wingers will stop posting judgmental nonsense like this and let people live the lives they want? I don't think I am going to see that day. OP: It's none of your damn business.

She would have had to taken hormones well before the embryo was implanted. Without the hormones, the pregnancy wouldn't have been able to happen.
From what I've read, it's a big risk for a woman her age to be taking those hormones. Some women who did just that (Elizabeth Edwards and probably Kelly Preston) ended up with breast cancer.
Except they decided to make it everyone’s business. If they had just quietly gone about their business I would agree with you, but that’s not what happened.
