She would have had to taken hormones well before the embryo was implanted. Without the hormones, the pregnancy wouldn't have been able to happen.
From what I've read, it's a big risk for a woman her age to be taking those hormones. Some women who did just that (Elizabeth Edwards and probably Kelly Preston) ended up with breast cancer.
Then the question would be whether women who need help getting pregnant have an increased risk of having breast cancer.
Women who have never been pregnant are at increased risk. Earlier age at first pregnancy and more pregnancies decrease risk.
Except they decided to make it everyone’s business. If they had just quietly gone about their business I would agree with you, but that’s not what happened.

Obviously she is past menopause and thus used a donated egg, and it was fertilized in vitro and then implanted in her uterus. But does a post-menopausal woman's body still "know" how to send nutrients via the umbilical cord? And is her body young enough to provide these nutrients? And wouldn't the stress of labor put a woman - which nature has decided is to old to withstand birth - at tremendous risk?

You skipped over the worlds most populist religion which would not condemn the practice, so much as kill everyone involved in most of their majority countries....to take a shot at the bible.

Agreed. But look on the bright-side, they can now blame vaccines if the child of a 61 year old gets autism.....ignoring all science about the correlation with parental age.

Yes, because heterosexual marriage is in great shape. Blissful spouses and happy, well-adjusted kids.
From what I've observed of long-term relationships as a heterosexual woman, same-sex marriages tend to be happier and more harmonious. Consistently that's what I notice.

Oh sure--after pregnancy and birth are over both mother and child are in the clear and there's NO concern for subsequent health issues to arise.
